Unlike most aquariums, these animals are here to get better in hopes of returning to the wild someday, rather to provide pure entertainment to visitors. This summer you can visit the aquarium for their sundown special!
The staff have rescued dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, nurse sharks, and more within Florida and are working tirelessly to rehabilitate and release these animals. In addition to witnessing and engaging with these incredible creatures, couples are also contributing to a bigger cause: sea animal protection and education, as all proceeds go towards helping these animals.

In addition, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is home to the famous dolphin Winter, who is featured in both The Dolphin Tale and The Dolphin Tale 2.

The Sundown Special.
The Summer Sundown Special runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 25 – Sep 3, 2018, giving couples an opportunity to experience the aquarium after hours. This is a perfect date night idea after a long day at the beach, or even after a day of work. Couples can hang out with the animals and learn more about the aquarium and its mission for only $10 a person. This is much cheaper than the regular $22.95 ticket prices during other months.
