What better time to enjoy the outdoors in the fall than to stroll around at some Tampa farmers markets? These markets can be found nearly every day of the week, with more than just fresh produce, and the cooler weather means you can avoid the blistering heat!

Whether you’re seeking local honey, baked goods, or fresh veggies grown in nearby fields, this guide to our local farmers' market scene will help you dive into great, close-to-home goods around Tampa Bay.

Our Favorite Tampa Bay Area Farmers Markets

Boyette Family Farms in Wesley Chapel

  • Location: 6715 Boyette Road, Wesley Chapel
  • Hours: Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This family-owned farmers market and farm features locally grown produce and other local goods like seafood, beef, baked treats, and more. They usually host food trucks often, if you want to turn your visit into an afternoon experience and stay for lunch!

Keystone Farmers Market in Odessa

  • Location: 12615 Tarpon Springs Road, Odessa
  • Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

The Keystone Farmers Market grows some of the produce it sells right on-site, like kale, root vegetables, chard, herbs, and more! They also sell produce from other parts of Tampa Bay and the country, along with mushrooms, raw milk (for pet consumption only), local honey, candles, fresh eggs, and locally made pasta. This is a fantastic spot to support local businesses. You can also pay $3 to feed their sweet cows, which we highly recommend doing for something cute and fun!

Beasley Farms in Brooksville

  • Location: 10137 Preston Road, Brooksville
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Beasley Farms' farmer's market is usually stocked with produce, flowers, plants, and more! They'll usually offer a produce box for $10, which gets you a nice variety of farm-fresh veggies, so check their Facebook page for updates to see what they have in stock before you go!

Meachum Urban Farm in Tampa

  • Location: 1108 E Scott Street, Tampa
  • Hours: Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays from 2 p.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Meachum Urban Farm is a regenerative urban farm growing organic and affordable produce near downtown Tampa and Ybor City in the Encore area. It's a pretty incredible thing they've built, growing 35 different fruits and vegetables on 2 acres. They also have chickens for farm-fresh eggs and even a honeybee hive! You can also join their Community Supported Agriculture program for regular produce pick-ups.

Sweetwater Organic Community Farm in Tampa

  • Location: 6942 W Comanche Ave., Tampa
  • Hours: seasonally, October-May on Sundays from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

Sweetwater Organic Farms offers a Community Supported Agriculture program where you pay a fee and pick up a box of organically grown produce each week. Sweetwater also opens their Sunday markets to the public and hosts classes so you can learn about organic agriculture. On select days, you can also participate in yoga on the farm. This is one of our favorite Tampa farmers markets!

Dube's Farm and Market

  • Location: 28523 Sonny Dr., Wesley Chapel
  • Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Dube's Farm and Market is a cool concept connecting locals with local farms through a mobile market and a Wesley Chapel couple is making that happen. You can stop by their main location or follow them on their Facebook page to see where they will be next! 

Strawberry Passion/ Passion Organics Farms in Thonotosassa

  • Location: 11780 Tom Folsom Road and 12351 McIntosh Road, Thonotosassa
  • Hours: Seasonally, Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Stop by Strawberry Passion for u-pick organic strawberries and then stay for a milkshake and shop their organic farmers market. They usually have lots of greens, onions, tomatoes, and other produce!

Life Farms in Clearwater (and local markets)

  • Location: 2759 Woodring Drive, Clearwater
  • Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Life Farms can be found at local markets throughout the area, but you can also shop at their farm store on certain days of the week. They sell USDA Certified organically grown produce, and also offer a Community Supported Agriculture program, which gives you fresh veggies each week when you sign up.

Parkesdale Farm Market in Plant City

  • Location: 3702 W Baker Street, Plant City
  • Hours: December-April: 7 days a week from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., April to November: Wednesday-Sunday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

This is a Tampa Bay favorite, especially during strawberry season, where you can get the world's best strawberry shortcake and strawberry milkshakes!! It also serves as a fresh produce market and a great spot to pick up plants as well.

Tampa Bay Farmers Market in Tampa

  • Location: 10001 North Armenia Ave., Tampa
  • Hours: Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Tampa Bay Farmers Market has called Tampa home since 1977! The market offers a variety of goods from local farmers and vendors. Fresh produce and herbs, and spices come from local farms but also from other parts of the country and world. During Christmas, they offer fresh Christmas trees!

Sanwa Farmers Market in Tampa

  • Location: 2621 E Hillsborough Ave., Tampa
  • Hours: Monday-Saturday from 4 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

A fixture in Tampa since 1982 as a wholesale business for restaurants, the owners of Sanwa Farmers Market expanded their selling base in 2001 to include retail consumers.

Located at 2621 E. Hillsborough Ave., the market features vendors inside and outside with a wide selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh herbs, fresh meat, international items, fresh seafood, and canned and dried goods. If you're looking for great deals, this is one of the best Tampa farmers' markets to check!

Hunsader Farms in Bradenton 

  • Location: 5500 County Road 675, Bradenton
  • Hours: September through early June, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Hunsader Farms not only offers farm-fresh produce, but you can also go out and pick your own, depending on the time of year! They also offer u-pick flowers in the spring and fall months. This is a great spot to bring the kids since they have a petting zoo and ice-cream shop on site, and they also have a coffee camper for the adults!

Golden Ridge Groves

  • Location: 2129 Alturas Rd., Bartow
  • Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Golden Ridge Groves is a great farm located in Bartow, Florida. They have seasonal U-Pick options, like sunflowers, grapefruit, oranges, and strawberries at various times of the year. Their market has fresh produce, pressed juices, themed gifts, jams, honey, and gourmet pantry options, as well as milk, eggs, and meats.

They also offer farm tours for an inside look at how their crops are grown!

Monthly Tampa Bay Area Artisan and Farmers Markets

Ybor City Saturday Market

  • Location: 1901 N. 19th St., Tampa
  • Hours: October-April, Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., May-September, Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Produce, artisan goods, bread, and honey are just a few things you'll find at Ybor City's weekly market. Stroll amongst shady oak trees and explore the covered pavilion as you peruse goods from local farmers and makers. You may even spot one of Ybor City's infamous chickens walking the grounds!

Find the market weekly in Centennial Park at the corner of 8th Ave and 19th St. This market is year-round, rain or shine.

Hyde Park Fresh Market in Tampa

  • Location: Swann Ave., Hyde Park
  • Hours: 1st Sunday of each month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The once-a-month Fresh Market at Hyde Park Village takes place every first Sunday of the month. The Fresh Market features more than 80 local vendors, including produce, handcrafted goods, plants, and more. While you shop and stroll, enjoy live music by Gasparilla Music in Village Circle.

Saturday Morning Market + Williams Park Summer Market in St. Pete

  • Location: 330 2nd Ave. N, St. Petersburg
  • Hours: October-May, every Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., June-August, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Take the Gandy or Howard Frankland Bridge across Tampa Bay to St. Petersburg and be prepared to experience one of the top farmers' markets in the U.S. Every Saturday, the Saturday Morning Market gets ready for business at the Al Lang Field parking lot in downtown St. Pete. Expect an estimated 170 vendors selling their goods and artisans selling their crafts. Add stellar food choices for dining and live music for entertainment! It’s a perfect day in the Florida sunshine.

The Saturday Morning Market runs from early October through late May. Their Summer Market, located at Williams Park, typically runs from June to August. Check the website before you go; sometimes it moves locations or reschedules due to weather or other events in the area.

Fresh Market at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel

  • Location: 28211 Paseo Dr. STE 100, Wesley Chapel
  • Hours: 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; year-round 

This market features 50+ local vendors selling everything from local, organic produce, hydroponic produce, Florida-grown plants, herbs, flowers, and other hand-crafted products!

Westchase Locale Market in Tampa

  • Location: Westchase Town Center, Tampa
  • Date: 2nd Saturday of every month from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Closed during the summer. 

Enjoy live music and over 30 vendors in Westchase Town Center every second Saturday of the month. Features plants, baked goods, handcrafted jewelry, art, pet goods, and more.

Water Street Sunday Market

  • Location: 971 Water St., Tampa, FL 33602
  • Hours: 3rd Sunday of each month, October-May, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June-September

Shop 60+ local food and wellness-focused vendors with an array of fresh, local, homemade, handcrafted, fair-trade, vintage, or eco-friendly products. This is one of the most popular Tampa farmers' markets, and it's year-round!

Sunshine Market at Midtown in Tampa

  • Location: Midtown Tampa
  • Hours: 4th Saturday of each month from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Head to the Midtown Commons area to explore more than 40 local vendors and makers! You'll find fresh produce, hand-crafted products and crafts, and more. This market is held year-round.

Sunset Market at Midtown in Tampa

  • Location: Midtown Tampa
  • Hours: 1st Thursday of each month from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.

If the daytime markets don't quite fit the schedule, check out the Sunset Market at Midtown in Tampa! Just like the Sunshine Market, you'll find local vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, hand-crafted items, and more. Like the Sunshine Market, this market is also held year-round.

Sunday Morning Market at Westshore Marina District

  • Location: 4900 Bridge St., Tampa
  • Hours: 4th Sunday of each month, October-May, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., June-September

This market features 70+ local vendors, including plants, produce, take-home foods, baked goods, lunch bites, food trucks, art, jewelry, clothing, and more.

Live music kicks off at 11 a.m. and is family and dog-friendly, plus bike-friendly too! This market is not rain or shine so be sure to check for their weather announcement before heading out.

Dunedin Downtown Market

  • Location: 420 Main St., Dunedin
  • Hours: Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; typically held seasonally

This local market takes place in the heart of Downtown Dunedin at Pioneer Park. Food trucks, sprouts and microgreens, fresh produce, farm eggs, cheese, and artisanal popsicles are just a few of the local finds. There's also live music. Stock up on local goods each week or pick up picnic-friendly bites to enjoy in the nearby Edgewater Park.

Corey Avenue Sunday Market in St. Pete

  • Location: Corey Ave. and Blind Pass Rd., St. Petersburg
  • Hours: Sundays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Another St. Petersburg destination is the Corey Avenue Sunday Market. This weekly market features an assortment of locally grown organic and hydroponic vegetables. 60+ vendors share their wares, including handcrafted items, gourmet food, and snacks. You'll find this market in the heart of St. Pete Beach, set up on the street at Corey Avenue & Blind Pass. This market is held year-round.

Carrollwood Market at the Carrollwood Cultural Center

  • Location: 4537 Lowell Rd., Tampa
  • Hours: 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

This local favorite market at the Carrollwood features local produce, fresh eggs and meats, fresh baked goods, local arts, live music, and more! Held year-round.

Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market

  • Location: 5000 N. Central Ave., Tampa
  • Hours: 2nd Sunday of each month from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

40+ vendors show up to this morning market to sell fresh fruits, veggies, herbs, spices, baked goods, and crafts. Head to the market early in the morning and then make your way to one of the amazing restaurants scattered around Seminole Heights for lunch.

Pinellas Farmers and Flea Market

  • Location: 13600 Icot Blvd, Clearwater
  • Hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

This seasonal market is open on the weekends and features locally grown vegetables, tropical fruits, arts and crafts, antiques, clothing, and more!
