Temperatures may still hover close to 80 even in our coolest months, but any remotely “crisp” day by Florida standards warrants a visit to the closest fall festival, pumpkin patch or craft brewery. Fall festivities, and particularly fall festivals in Tampa are an easy way to have some fun together.

Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Fridays – Sundays, September 16 – November 14, 2022
Polk City
This working family farm in Polk City is a fall favorite and sports an incredible pumpkin patch. Check out the corn maze, search for the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, and challenge your boo to a game of corn hole.

Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees

Opening September 19, 2022
St. Petersburg
Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family-owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch’ for your home at their pumpkin patch! You can also pick up a yummy homemade pie and even feed goats in the goat pen. Before you leave, be sure you snap a photo in front of the popular vintage pick up truck. Raprager Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

Select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays September 17 – November 13, 2022

Raprager’s fall Festival is BACK with even more fall fun on the farm! There are new attractions this year including axe throwing, pumpkin painting, a 900ft inflatable maze, baby cow, and more. The haunted barn is back along with the hayrides, petting zoo, hay chute slide, and other favorites.

Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival

Clermont, FL
About an hour east of Tampa, just north from Walt Disney World is the cutest farm/fall festival for families! This year’s 7th Annual Fall Festival at Southern Hill Farms will feature a new 5-acre corn maze, u-pick sunflowers and zinnias, a pumpkin patch barn, kids zone, and more. You can even taste the yummy apple cider donuts.

Sweetfields Farm Fall Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Tickets to this farm’s annual festival include a variety of family and date-friendly activities, including an intricate corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayride, and more. There are tons of things to keep the kiddos busy if you’re bringing the whole family. Buy your tickets early! This even often sells out and tickets are not available same-day in the event of a sellout.

20th Annual Brooksville Pumpkin Patch

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays September 30-October 30, 2022
Downtown Brooksville
The Brooksville pumpkin patch has hundreds, if not thousands, of pumpkins to choose from! This year, they’re celebrating their 20th year!  They also have food vendors, produce, pony rides, a petting zoo, costume contest, trunk or treat, and more.

Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch

October 1-26, 2022, Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm, Sat. 10am-6pm, Sun. 12pm-6pm
Tampa, FL
Come pick out the perfect pumpkin at Hyde Park Village. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The pumpkin patch will be located by the fountain near Pottery Barn.

Corky’s Corn Maze at Keel Farms

Plant City, FL
Keel Farms in Plant City is hosting this NEW event in Tampa Bay that will feature a four-acre corn maze for you and the kids to navigate as you find hidden clues and solve a riddle with the rooster mascot, Corky and pals. There is also a pumpkin hatch, hayrides, kids zone, and more! Stick around and enjoy some of Keel’s fruit wines, sangrias, beers, and ciders.

Dave’s Christmas Tree Lot Pumpkin Patch

October 1-31, 2022
It’s not officially fall until you’ve visited this pumpkin patch. Bring your friends and family out to wander through rows of pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, highly stacked hay bales, garden mums and much more. Come winter, this is also a great spot to pick up a Christmas tree!

HarvestMoon Farm offers five acres of nonstop fun. Work on your teamwork skills as you twist and turn your way through the farm’s 5-acre corn maze, which features a new design each year. Other activities include the pumpkin patch, petting farm and more. Couples will love the Haunted Nights and Flash Light Nights and the farm’s nighttime Flashlight Maze Haunted Trail.

Shimmering Lights Fall Festival 

October 8-17, Thursday-Sunday — October 21-31, nightly. 7-10 pm
This evening activity lets you enjoy cooler evening temps without the haunted vibe of other night time Halloween events. At Shimmering Lights you’ll find a 1/4 mile walking trail with hundreds of themed light displays, animated props, outdoor movies, scavenger hunts, crafts and games.

10th Annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Saturdays and Sundays October 1-23, 2022; 10am-5pm
Plant City
This annual maze features a corn maze, live music, duck races, fall games, a pumpkin patch, butterfly garden (additional charge) and more. Make it a complete date day by pairing up your visit with a stop at Keel Farms, which is a short 15-minute drive from the maze. Bring cash for the on site vendors as many don’t accept card payments.

Pumpkin Patch Express

The Florida Railroad Museum is calling “all aboard” for young and old train enthusiasts as you embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express to a field full of pumpkins to pick, as well as kid-friendly activities on your 2-hour journey. Trains will run at 50% capacity to ensure room to social distance. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in other crafts and activities.

31st Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival and Corn Maze

This Bradenton farm’s annual pumpkin festival includes live music and shows, a pumpkin patch, fall eats and sweets, a corn maze ($2 extra), and so much more.
