Vantage Rooftop Bar, The Karol Hotel
This newcomer hotel in the St. Pete/Clearwater area is great for a romantic staycation. But equally enjoyable is a standalone visit to the beautiful, climate-controlled rooftop bar. Take the elevator to the hotel’s 12th floor for scenic views of the Tampa skyline and Old Tampa Bay. On the menu you’ll find local craft brews and creative cocktails. Vantage will be reopening November 11, 2020.
Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar, Fenway Hotel
Fenway Hotel is a fixture of downtown Dunedin, an ideal locale for dining, soaking up the sun at the nearby pristine beaches, and exploring the Pinellas Trail. The relatively new hotel boasts a top-notch restaurant and the open-air Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar. It’s also got amazing views of nearby Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. Toast to the sunset while enjoying live jazz entertainment and indulging in shareable small plates.
Rox Rooftop Bar, Current Hotel
Rox Rooftop Bar is situated atop the chic Current Hotel and is the tallest rooftop bar in the city. Take in sweeping 360-degree views of Tampa Bay while sipping on a signature cocktail inside or out on the terrace. Rox is currently open Thursday-Sunday beginning at 4pm. For the ultimate date night, combine drinks with dinner at Julian Restaurant, which is open daily for lunch and dinner.
W XYZ bar, Aloft Tampa Downtown
Make it a downtown date with a stroll along the Riverwalk and a visit to Aloft Tampa Downtown’s colorful W XYZ bar. Expect lively music, craft cocktails and modern finishes. Drinks can be sipped indoors or enjoyed outside on the pool deck, which overlooks the Riverwalk. The lounge is currently open Fridays and Saturdays from 5-11pm.
TAMPA BAY HOTEL RESTAURANTS
NEW – Azure at The Tampa EDITION Hotel
Brand new to the Tampa Bay neighborhood is EDITION Hotel. This luxury hotel is home to Azure Mediterranean restaurant – a gorgeous rooftop, poolside setting sure to impress. Drinks and small bites are available at some very cool poolside daybeds at Azure.
Élevage Soho Kitchen + Bar, Epicurean Hotel
Foodies will be right at home at Élevage, the Epicurean Hotel’s upscale eatery. The menu highlights global fare from Executive Chef Jason Bamford, to be enjoyed on the restaurant’s patio or inside of the well-appointed dining room. There’s also a notable Sunday brunch. While you’re here, stick around for drinks at the lobby bar. Or, head upstairs to Edge, the hotel’s rooftop bar. The latter is set to reopen on November 6, 2020.
HEW Parlor & Chophouse, Fenway Hotel
The original Fenway Hotel in Dunedin was built in 1927 and recently underwent a full reconstruction just a few years ago. The on-site restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse includes a parlor bar specializing in whisky and Scotch, an open kitchen, and chef-driven menu. Check the hotel’s events calendar for the live music lineup and special events, like beer and spirits pairing dinners.
RumFish Grill, TradeWinds Island Resorts
Multiple resort properties along St. Pete Beach comprise TradeWinds Island Resorts, the RumFish Beach Resort among them. This tropical getaway property is home to the namesake RumFish Grill, where you can dine next to a 33,500-gallon aquarium. Indulge in the seafood-centric menu for lunch or dinner.
Oystercatchers + Armani’s, Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay
Take your pick from two noteworthy date night eateries within Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Oystercatchers makes for a romantic date to dine and watch the sunset. This upscale restaurant features a dockside lounge, outdoor deck & seating, a private beach and an interior that is framed by large windows.
Alternatively, make your way to the hotel’s top floor for a fine dining experience with views of the water at Armani’s, a romantic restaurant serving Italian fare. Taste your way through the antipasto bar and the dazzling desserts, including tiramisu and a chocolate hazelnut bar. Note: Armani’s is temporarily closed.
SPAS
Rock Spa & Salon, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa
Relax like a rockstar with music-inspired and immersive treatments at this hotel spa. The spa’s signature Rhythm & Motion treatments incorporate music for a one-of-a-kind rejuvenating experience. St. Pete’s iconic “Pink Palace” has been undergoing a host of renovations currently set to be complete in December 2020. Improvements include a brand new rooftop deck, pool bar, new restaurant, room renovations and more. Relax and unwind at the on-site spa, Spa Oceana. Highlights include two couple’s treatment rooms with Gulf views, a rooftop terrace overlooking the water, seasonally-inspired treatments and more. The spa is currently open with a limited treatment menu, enhanced safety guidelines and reduced capacity.
Pallavi Spa, Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach
Relieve your stress by the beach at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. The hotel’s Pallavi Spa offers couples a variety of ways to unwind in tandem, including dual massage tables, a spa tub with ample room for two and a shower experience. Spa Evangeline, Epicurean Hotel
Calling all wine lovers! Epicurean Hotel’s luxurious Spa Evangeline features notable offerings, several of which incorporate vino into the treatment. Treatment options customized for couples include a Cabernet grape-rich body scrub, flutes of champagne served while soaking in an oversized Jacuzzi tub, and aromatherapy massages.

Epicurean Hotel
Located in Tampa’s SoHo district, this stylish hotel boasts a top-notch restaurant, open-air rooftop bar, a relaxing spa and heated outdoor pool. Day passes start at $20 and include full access to the heated hotel pool with a reserved lounge chair, plus free wifi and parking. F
