Before we get into what makes the Edition Hotel Tampa so special, here’s a summary of what to love about this new hotel from a local’s perspective:

Drinks & Dining at The Tampa EDITION Hotel
The Edition is bringing in the heavy hitters for food and beverage. The culinary team is led by Chef John Fraser, who, not to brag, has Michelin Stars under his belt.
The concepts lean heavily to the Mediterranean with Lilac, a Greek and Turkish-influenced restaurant, an Italian Trattoria dubbed Market at Edition, and Azure Mediterranean restaurant – a gorgeous rooftop, poolside setting sure to impress.
Lilac was awarded a 2023 Michelin Star. The small space has a sleek and sexy vibe (but ironically, no lilacs). Their contemporary four-course pre-fixe menu has Mediterranean influences, Florida-focused ingredients, and French techniques. Savor dishes like the Ora King salmon, Florida stone crab salad, or Colorado lamb chop with tender leeks and house-made lamb sausage. For the ultimate date-night splurge, order their champagne cocktail cart for cocktails made tableside.
Drinks and small bites are available at some very cool poolside daybeds at Azure. Fraser is also at the helm of the poolside and lobby bars. Rounding out the options at the Tampa Edition are Arts Club, a cocktail bar with light bites and an intimate live performance venue, and Punch Room, a gorgeous cocktail bar with a Caribbean flare.

The Spa
Experience at the Tampa Edition. Per the spa menu, “EDITION Spas embody vibrant living, by bringing internationally inspired healing practices with a local flare to each location.” This particular spa is inspired by the healing powers of the ocean. The hotel was designed by SC Design Studio in partnership with Morris Adjmi Architects, Bonetti Kozerski Architects, and Roman and Williams – all of that to say, it is stunning.
