The Tampa Theatre

One of Tampa’s absolute gems is this non-profit movie palace located on Franklin street. Originally built by Paramount Pictures in 1926, this theatre has persevered through the changing times thanks to Tampa citizens. The Tampa Theatre shows new movies, old classics, shows and concerts. Named to the National Register of Historic Places and a Tampa City Landmark, the ornate architecture of this single auditorium theatre will transport you and your date to a place of magic.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

If you or your date would prefer some fresh air, maybe Curtis Hixon is the spot for you. Located on Ashley Street and overlooking the Hillsborough River, this scenic park is a great option for a day time picnic or night time stroll. The Straz Center
