Mike’s Pies

Order those Thanksgiving pies from Mike’s! Local to Tampa, Mike’s first opened in a small retail store in the Bay Area in ’92. According to their site, if you ask Mike’s mom, the legacy began years prior with his grandmother who passed on the traditions for years to come. Ever since Mike’s opened, his mission is to not only bring delicious pies but top-quality pies through consistency and heart. Pies include Brownie, Buttermilk, Chocolate Mousse, Coconut Cream, Key Lime, Mango Lime, Mississippi Mud Pie, Orange Blossom, and more. Mike also sells cakes and cheesecakes as well as gluten-free options fruit pies and no sugar fruit pies.

Moreno Bakery

Moreno Bakery is a local staple serving up delicious baked goods for years. The bakery is full of Cuban history starting with Mr. Moreno himself. When he first moved to Tampa in the 90’s he began working at Le Segunda Central Bakery in Ybor until opening up Moreno in 2008.

If you want a pie for Thanksgiving, Moreno Bakery is the place! Try an apple pie, blueberry pie, cherry, chocolate chess, chocolate cream, and so much more. Not to mention, his pies are super affordable!

Note that Moreno Bakery is closed on Thanksgiving Day itself, so order ahead so you can pick up before the big day.

Goody Goody Burgers

Obviously, Goody Goody is a hub for a delicious burger but did you know they have awesome Thanksgiving pie options too?! In fact, they’re famous pies by Annabelle Johnson and are made every single day in the house and are available until they’re gone – so don’t wait! One slice goes for around $6 and a whole pie goes for about $30. Flavors include Butterscotch, Coconut Cream, and Chocolate Cream.

Wright’s Gourmet House

Wright’s is another Tampa classic serving up delicious delicatessen items as well as yummy baked goods. Pop in for a meal or order a Thanksgiving pie! Here you can order by the slice or buy the whole pie/cake.

Order ahead to pick up one of their Pecan, Pumpkin, or Cranberry Blueberry pies or their warm Apple Tart (with or without streusel) and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Prices range from $14-$37. Deadline to order is November 19th for pickup on the 23rd.
