The Tampa Bay Margarita and Music Festival is Back!

Mark your calendars this May 25^th for the 6^th Annual Margarita and Music Festival! Located at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on Memorial Day Weekend, the festival will host live music, margaritas, games, shopping, food, and fireworks to finish the night! The Tampa Bay Margarita and Music Festival is the largest festival in the state of Florida dedicated to Margaritas and live musical entertainment! The event kicks off at noon and lasts until 11 p.m. that night; almost twelve whole hours of margarita fun!

Entertainment

Wondering what the musical entertainment will be this year? Fear not! The musical lineup is online and is red hot! Some of the past headliners include The Wallflowers, Plain White T’s, Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler, and Los Lonely Boys! Of course, the festival shows some major love to local bands! In-between sets enjoy the original MC of the festival, DJ Fresh as he will keep the party going all day long. Here’s a list of the headliners so far:

Margaritas

Why come to the Margarita Festival without having a margarita?… or two? This year you can expect over 60 different margaritas! Yes, you heard that right! Enjoy the classic margarita flavor either frozen or on the rocks, or broaden your horizons with a Mango Jalapeno, Pineapple Sriracha, or Watermelon Matcha Margarita! If you want even more “rita-venture” try the Churro Margarita, Boba Margarita, or Sriracha Margarita over at the Extreme Margarita Bar!

Food

One of the main food staples at the Tampa Bay Margarita and Music Festival is tacos! Tacos are so beloved that the fest builds a 2400 square foot taco restaurant for all of the taco fanatics that must munch on a taco while they sip their ‘ritas! If you aren’t feeling tacos this year, no worries because their food vendor lineup is killer. Enjoy BBQ, Empanadas, sushi burritos, pizza, donuts, Karaage/Kimchee, fries, and so much more! Bring your appetites.

Once you’ve sipped and eaten, check out the marketplace! Enjoy local arts and crafts, festival garb, and more! Vendors do not accept RFID payment, only cash/cc, so keep that in mind before you arrive! This year’s vendors at the marketplace include:

Tequila Tasting
