Florida Avenue Brewing

Florida Avenue’s brand-new location will serve up fan favorites made with fresh, local ingredients, including Luminescence Hazy IPA, Dead Parrot Light Lager, Passion of the Heights Tropical Wheat Ale, and nationally acclaimed, You’re My Boy Blue Blueberry Wheat Ale. The on-site brewery will create special batches and products specifically for the Seminole Heights location.
In addition to its popular line of craft brews, the Seminole Heights location will feature a full liquor bar serving a variety of craft cocktails and a selection of wine. Patrons can sit at their giant L-shaped bar or out on their 1,000-square-foot covered outdoor patio. The menu includes favorites such as Cheese Curds, House-made Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, and the Florida Avenue Smash Burger along with a selection of salads, sides and kid’s selections.
Armature Works

Armature Works is a historic mixed-use hub filled with an array of amazing foodie spots, making it an eclectic restaurant scene. It’s situated along the Hillsborough River and is perfect for a day or date night any day of the week. Check out Ava for incredible wood-fired pizza, Bento Asian Kitchen for dishes like Pao Pao Chicken and Mongolian Steak, M. Bird for it’s incredible rooftop views, or Oak and Ola for their popular 007 salad, White Lamb Bolognese, or Mushroom Truffle Pizza. Rocca

Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner Rocca serves up Italian dishes from scratch with a rotating menu of what’s fresh and in season. Their menu includes savory starters, pasta, and meat and fish but the star of the show is their Mozzarella Cart that’s always available no matter what time of year. A fresh cart is brought to the table where a server will make fresh mozzarella right before your eyes. Once it’s done. it’s served with heirloom tomato. fresh basil, and 10-year aged balsamic vinegar. They also have a private dining room right in the kitchen which is perfect for special occasions, parties, and group outings.
Ulele

Named after the Native American princess by the same name, Ulele recently received the honor of being named “Best Fusion Restaurant” in Tampa Magazine‘s 2022 Best Restaurants List. It took home accolades in the “Best Waterfront Restaurant” category, too. Diners will love the romantic restaurant’s waterfront location, situated along the Tampa Riverwalk overlooking the Hillsborough River. When it comes to the menu, all of the food is harvested in the United States and comes from family or independently owned companies. Check out the seafood risotto for a fun twist on a classic dish. They also have some of the best-chargrilled oysters in Tampa.
Ichicoro Ramen

Ramen lovers rejoice! Ichicoro Ramen is an authentic ramen-ya located in the heights. Ichicoro is pulling out all the stops when it comes to providing the most delicious ingredients that make a good bowl of ramen. The ramen and broth are made in house and guests can pick from a long list of quality ingredients to add to their bowl. They also have a selection of snacks and rice bowls. Ichicoro has quickly become a neighborhood favorite so don’t be surprised if you see a line stretching out of the door! Make sure you and your date get your name on the list early. The vibe is hip and casual.
Rooster and the Till

Critics rave about this Seminole Heights restaurant that was named the 2022 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award Recipient and number one in the Tampa Bay Times top 50 list of 2018. What makes this spot special is it’s revolving menu that features guest chef series, pop-up events, and an always-changing tasting menu. Guests will be taken on an unexpected culinary adventure each time they visit Rooster and the Till. You and your date have the option of having dinner in the main dining area or being right in the action at the Kitchen Bar. Reservations are recommended, as this location is quality over quantity.
Ella’s Americana Folk Art Café

This funky little joint is offering up eclectic cuisine, unique music and art. The menu can be described as American favorites with a chef inspired twist. Dishes like “Henry the Loaf” and “The Hippy Pizza” are fun and whimsical like the art that surrounds you at Ella’s. Their Soul Food Sundays menu features southern style breakfast favorites and a Kansas City Style BBQ menu serving up BBQ ribs, brisket, bacon mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes and more. Make sure to catch the live music that’s available throughout the week. Closed on Mondays.
The C House

Whether it’s a girl’s night out or a night on the town with your man, The C House is definitely worth checking out. The theme is all things that begin with the letter C – craft cocktails, cheese and charcuterie, and cheesecake. The list goes on including creative menu options that all carry on with the theme. Located in Seminole Heights off of Florida Avenue, this trendy little spot is a welcome addition to this budding area.

King of the Coop

King of the Coop is Tampa’s first Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant and is perfect for a casual date. Their menu serves up all things fried chicken from Chicken and Waffles, to Jumbo Tenders, wings, and bowls. Their signature dishes are their sandwiches, such as the Nashville Hot and the Dirty Bird, which are perfectly accompanied by their fries or mac and cheese.
