Most Tampa Bay sweethearts know and love Bern’s Steak House, it truly is iconic. But Bern’s is not the only game in town.

1. Charley’s

Charley’s is a staple in the Tampa area. It’s been around since the late 1970’s and is owned by the co-founder of Red Lobster. You’ll experience a unique and authentic feel thanks to Charley’s being family-owned and operated.
The low lighting, exposed brick and booth seating creates an experience of indulgence and sophistication. Their best-selling menu items are the Filet Mignon and Lobster Mac n Cheese.
2. Malio’s Prime

Malio’s Prime is a hidden gem in downtown Tampa, tucked inside the Rivergate Tower off the Tampa Riverwalk. As a family-owned steakhouse, they strive to provide the highest quality of meats and service.
Malio’s has a tradition of serving Creekstone All-Natural Prime Beef & Pork, along with cold-water lobster tails. The menu boasts over 200 wines so you can pick the perfect pairing for your dinner. They have a great happy hour with outdoor seating along the river, as well.
3. Meat Market

Tucked inside Hyde Park Village is another classic, Meat Market. It is a modern, seductive restaurant. Start off your experience in the bar/lounge area to extend the evening.
With promotions throughout the week like disco brunch, omakase dinner, and meat up Mondays, there is an excuse every day of the week to visit. Its gold accents give it a luxurious and glamorous feel. Meat Market has an extensive cocktail and food menu spanning from steak to sushi.
4. Driftlight Steakhouse
510 Water St, Tampa, FL 33602
A Water Street find, Driftlight Steakhouse, inside the JW Marriott hotel, is inspired by all of the lighted bridges in Tampa Bay. Its light and airy ambience gives off more coastal energy and is immediately welcoming and refreshing.
Their menu is curated of the season’s freshest ingredients and rotates throughout the year. Don’t miss popular dishes like the scallops, braised short rib, and oysters.
Terre Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse
1108 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33629
Located along Dale Mabry is traditional Brazilian steakhouse, Terre Gaucha. They are known for their churrasco experience, a Southern Brazil style of grilling, with all kinds of meat including steak, chicken, pork, and lamb, just to name a few. Their menu is made up off all the cuts of meat your heart desires. You will also find an array of Brazilian-inspired dishes to transport you right to South America.
5. Renzo’s

With locations in both St. Pete and Tampa, Renzo’s is an Argentinian steakhouse and wine bar aimed to please. They are known for their cozy atmosphere and their extensive menu comprised of traditional cuts like the NY Strip Steak and seasonal offerings like braised short ribs.

6. Beau n Mo’s
2924 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
Another St. Pete gem is small, Chicago-style Italian steakhouse, Beau n Mo’s. They have a fantastic selection of USDA Prime and Australian Wagyu steaks that will have your mouth watering. Their menu also includes a number of traditional Italian dishes like carbonara.
The interior decor of black and red with white linen napkins gives the classic steakhouse feel. It’s almost as if you’ve stepped into a different decade.
