We all love staying fit and healthy, but we also love drinking beer and eating food. Most of the time, these things don’t go hand and hand. A few Tampa area restaurants and bars are making it a little easier on you, though, by forming restaurant workout groups that congregate at the restaurant. Sometimes joining these groups come with perks, too, like a free beer or t-shirt.

81Bay Brew Company
81Bay Brew Company and Yoga Loft Tampa come together to bring you Yoga and Brew. Yoga and Brew happens every first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the 81Bay Art Gallery. Make sure you register for the class beforehand to save a spot and then stick around after for a delicious and cold beer from the tap. 81Bay Brew Company also has a ton of other awesome events throughout the week, so make sure you check them out!
World of Beer Run Club – Soho
The World of Beer in Soho is always a fun and chill place to grab a drink and some bar bites. Thursday’s are special, though, because every week at 7pm, a group of WOB lovers meet to run around Hyde Park for a bit and then grab a beer afterwards. Oh, and the beer is free if you go on the run! That sounds like a great Thursday night to me.
Irish 31
It doesn’t take a lot to love Irish 31. Their drinks are amazing. Their food is amazing. But they can make your Wednesday’s amazing, too. Every Wednesday at 6:30pm, runners meet at Irish 31 in Hyde Park for a run. Afterwards, runners enjoy awesome food and drinks specials. You even get a free runner’s shirt after your 5th run with the group.
Four Green Fields Running Club
Their Facebook Page says “A bunch of drinkers with running problems,” so what’s not to love? Four Green Fields is a staple in Tampa and gets even better on Tuesdays at 5:30pm when a bunch of awesome people get together to run by Bayshore. This running club comes with a free t-shirt, too, after 10 runs or 50km of running. Totally worth it.
