This new ship gives cruisers plenty of options to eat and drink the day away! With more than six included restaurants and six specialty dining options, sampling your way around the Margaritaville at Sea Islander is a delicious escape from the ordinary.
Sailing from Tampa
The Margaritaville at Sea Islander is the newest and flagship resort at sea. The 2,650-passenger ship will sail four and five-night cruises. The port’s cruise terminals are easy to navigate and provide a variety of unique and interesting activities just steps from the Margaritaville at Sea Islander.
One of the growing trends both cruise lines and their itinerary planners are seeing is an increase in the number of guests who are interested in extending their cruise by enjoying the pre- and post-cruise activities in the homeport city.
Tampa is ideally suited for catering to this trend, given that it is located between some of the world’s most popular theme parks and acclaimed beaches with crystal-clear waters in the cities of Clearwater and St. Pete Beach. In addition, guests are just steps from the sights, sounds, and experiences of Downtown Tampa.
The district is a destination in itself, thanks to attractions like the Florida Aquarium, Sparkman Wharf, new shops and restaurants on Water Street, the unique Ybor City and Downtown Tampa’s Riverwalk, which has spectacular views and is close to eateries and nightlife.
Margaritaville at Sea Islander Staterooms
Each one of the Islander’s 1,105 staterooms will be fully renovated with all-new furnishings, fixtures and Margaritaville signature bedding, pillows and linens. Each will feature custom stylings reminiscent of the sand, sea and sky and will range from cozy interiors to one-of-a-kind Signature Suites inspired by some of the late Jimmy Buffett’s most iconic songs.
Among the stateroom offerings, Margaritaville at Sea Islander will feature six ultra-exclusive Signature Grand Suites uniquely themed and influenced by popular songs such as “Come Monday” and “Everlasting Moon.” Featuring unique Margaritaville touches throughout, these suites will also offer an extra spacious balcony with private loungers, large walk-in showers, upgraded premium furnishings, a separate seating area, and several exclusive amenities such as priority check-in, boarding and debarkation; exclusive concierge services and lounge access; complimentary nightly dining in the Islander Dining Room; and more.
With twelve different stateroom and suite types, everyone from couples and families to solo travelers and larger groups will find a comfortable space to fit their needs.
