Golf, one of the sporting staples across the globe! With golf greats labeled as athletic greats, icons, and role-models, the sport has captivated players and enthusiasts for years. This May, be sure to check out all of the many golf tournaments the Bay has to offer. While some tournaments are just for fun and networking, others benefit great local causes so be sure to check them out and see which event(s) best suit your golf-related interests!

2019 Top Golf Tournament

Top Golf
May 16, 3 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
The Tamp Bay Builders Association invites you to a full afternoon of golf and fun! The event is hosted by Badger Construction. Registration and happy hour will begin at 3 p.m. with the games beginning at 3:45 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. the awards ceremony will take place! Teams are encouraged to register, which includes lunch and an open bar.

Tampa JCC’s Eighth Annual Golf Tournament

Eagles Golf Club
May 17, 8 a.m.
Don’t miss out on The Tampa Jewish Community Center and Federation “Tee Off” golf tournament! The tournament will begin with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30. Admission includes 18 holes of golf, access to a Bloody Mary Bar and Welcome Brunch, drinks, dinner, dessert, and a gift bag.

First Annual Armed Forces Golf Tournament

Heritage Isle Golf and Country Club

National Armed Forces Day is the 3rd Saturday of the month of May, falling on the 18th this year. The Heritage Isle Golf and Country Club is hosting their first annual Armed Forces Golf Tournament to celebrate and honor the Veterans and Active Duty members! Proceeds will benefit local Military and Veteran charities across the bay. Those veterans and active duty players can receive a %20 military discount to attend and play with a special coupon code listed on the site!

Solid Rock Community School 7th Annual Golf Tournament

Fox Hollow Golf and Country Club
May 18, 11:30 a.m.
Head over to Trinity to Fox Hollow Golf and Country Club for their 7th Annual Golf Tournament! Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The event will host a special $10,000 Hole in One Content, other on-course contests, a buffet dinner, awards ceremony, and more!

Wreaths Across America Benefit Golf Tournament

Don’t miss the Wreaths Across America Benefit Golf Tournament! The tournament is $55 per person which includes a steak dinner after the tournament! Guests must pre-order to receive their full game, golf cart, t-shirt, and dinner.

Pirate Athletic Hall of Fame Tournament

Pasadena Yacht and Country Club
May 18,  1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Don’t Miss the Boca Ciega High School Pirate Athletic Hall of Fame 20th Annual Golf Tournament! This year, the tournament is dedicated to Joseph H. “Joe” Lang, Class of 1955. Joe was inducted into the school’s hall of fame for swimming and community service in 1993. He passed away on April 21, 2018. The tournament will be played in a scramble/best ball format with a $10,000 Hole-In-One Contest, silent auction, and dinner.

Dallas Bull + Angelus House Charity Golf Tournament

Pebble Creek Golf Course
May 19, 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Head out to Pebble Creek Golf Course this Sunday, the 19th for a charity golf tournament! This tournament encourages single and foursome golfers to play a full, 18-hold course. After the game, drinks and a meal will be provided. Proceeds will benefit The Angelus House, an organization and home established to care for the severely handicapped.

BOMA GTB- 29th Annual Golf Tournament

Cheval Golf and Country Club
May 20, 12 p.m.
If you love both golf and networking, then you must check out BOMA’s Annual Golf Tournament! This tournament is considered to be the best networking opportunity in the Bay area. The previous tournament hosted over 115 local property managers, building owners, suppliers, and guests! However, the tournament is limited to 100 players, so it is first come, first served. The day will include a full 18 holes of golf, continental lunch and breakfast, free drinks, cash prizes, and so much more!

10th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Manatee Seminole Club
May 24, 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Come on out to the Manatee Seminole Club for a day full of golf-related fun! The tournament features former FSU wide receiver and 1999 National Champion, Peter Warrick! The event is open to FSU alumni, fans, and friends. Other special guests include Marcus Outzen, Keith Cottrell, and Kevin Knox! Lunch will be on site including a silent auction and raffle. Proceeds will go towards the Manatee Seminole Club Scholarship!

District Convention Golf Tournament

Seven Springs Country Club
May 30, 1 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Head over to Seven Springs Country Club for the District Convention Golf Tournament! The tournament lasts from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. with a Welcome Reception and Golf Tournament Awards Presentation Dinner to follow from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m.!
