As one of the longest running farmers’ markets in the country, the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market runs every Tuesday, year round. Opening up at 9 a.m. and running until 2 or 3 p.m. depending on the time of year, couples have plenty of time to make a visit to this extraordinary event. It is also important to note that parking is free and there is plenty of places to park in the area.

While visiting The Market, couples can expect a wide variety of locally-grown and organic produce, as well as breads, cheeses, desserts, candy, jams, sauces, honey, olives, and more. Couples can choose to purchase these items for later or enjoy them right then and there on the sunny streets of Gulfport. Local restaurants will also have stands if you and your significant other are looking to enjoy a hearty meal.

In addition to food products, vendors also sell hand-made bath and body products, pet products, and beautiful bouquets of flowers. Artisans and crafters are also present showcasing some of their best work. With almost 100 vendors present, it is almost impossible to go home empty-handed.

And last but not least, local musicians perform The Market goes on. Couples can get down to the island jazz and blues while shopping.
