Father’s Day Dining in Tampa Bay
June 19, all day
Families are invited to celebrate dad at Willa’s this Father’s Day. The restaurant will feature Sunday brunch specials and dinner, including Roasted Prime Rib with carraway demi-glace, horseradish creme with grilled asparagus tomato thyme vinaigrette and maldon for $35, and new cocktail, Mother’s Medicine with Jack Daniels’s Rye, Cynar, pineapple, lemon and mint for $15.
For the wino dad, Willa’s offers half-off all bottles on Sundays. The wine list features a unique variety of light and refreshing wines and adventurous and hard to find bottles. See the full list here.

Unique for Father’s Day, Eddie V’s is serving an 11-ounce Snake River Farms Gold Label Wagyu Strip Steak, available exclusively in-restaurant. This year, Seasons 52 is offering Green Box, a balanced three-course Father’s Day dinner to go. Each box is freshly prepared, serves four to six and is under 595 calories per serving. Boxes include choice of a Whole Side of Cedar-Plank Roasted Salmon or Wood-Grilled Beef Tenderloin, which comes with salad, choice of two sides and Mini Indulgences. In addition, the regular menu is available in-restaurant for guests who would rather celebrate Dad in the dining room. To make a reservation or place an order, visit their website. The Capital Grille is helping guests treat Dad to an at-home luxury cookout with The Capital Butcher, offering a selection of uncooked signature cuts of steak, hand-carved daily and dry-aged in-house for 18-24 days. Guests may order steaks à la carte or choose from an assortment of Steak Grille Boxes that come with four steaks, proprietary seasoning and a gift of Signature Steak Sauce. Box options include Dry Aged Bone-in NY Strip, Bone-in Prime Ribeye, or a combination of the two. Guests can enjoy alongside signature accompaniments, such as Lobster Mac ‘N Cheese or Sam’s Mashed Potatoes. In addition, the regular dinner menu is available all day in the restaurant’s dining room with suggestions for Dad such as Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye with 15-Year Aged Balsamic, Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip with Shallot Butter and the 22-ounce Bone-In Ribeye.
Treat dad to a mouthwatering (and healthy) meal at True Food Kitchen in Midtown. If you’re looking for a dinner reservation, catering spread, or last-minute gift card, they’ve got you covered. The grill will be hot and ready to serve up their Grass-Fed Burgers and Grilled Korean Steak. Their bartenders will also be shaking up their sweet Berries & Bourbon drink all weekend long.

Throughout the weekend, guests can participate in several fun Father’s Day themed events in addition to the many amenities at the resort. On Friday, June 17th at 4pm, guests can participate in a beer pairing dinner at Tropico Rooftop Cantina. Four beers from local Big Storm Brewery will be paired alongside four of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. The pairing is $25 per person and reservations are required.
On Saturday, June 18th, the resort will host “Father’s Day Olympics” at its rooftop pool deck. Throughout the day, guests and their dads can enjoy a wide variety of games including cornhole, foosball, and ladder golf while enjoying a selection of local craft beers at Tropico Rooftop Cantina.

Kick off Father’s Day at Ulele for the 9th Annual Richard’s Father’s Day Walk and Jog. Join the Columbia’s Richard Gonzmart, WWE global ambassador Titus O’Neill, as well as mascots and cheerleaders from your favorite pro sports teams this Father’s Day. This family-friendly, non-timed event on the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk begins and returns to Ulele restaurant in Tampa Heights. Run or walk at your own pace and your own distance. Proceeds benefit Moffitt Cancer Center. Registration is $30 online and $35 the day of.
Head to MacDinton’s in Tampa to see some sweet rides and enjoy some “dad-mosas!” Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be raffles, Redbull girls and Redbull samples, DJs, $15 bottomless “dad-mosas,” $10 MacDaddy Burger and Bud Light NEXT Beer, and a WWP guest speaker at 3:30.

This unique spa experience is a great way to treat dad to some relaxation. My Beer Spa in Orlando is a spa made up of – you guessed it – beer. Guests can book a private room with access to tubs made with hops and antioxidants, an infrared sauna, and a German-style hay bed, all while having access to unlimited craft beer and wine on tap during their stay. Not a dog dad yet or looking to add “sibling” for your current pup? Humane Society will be bringing adoptable puppies that are looking for their furever homes! This event is 21+ only. Dogs over one-year-old who are up to date on vaccinations, rabies, and spayed or neutered are allowed to attend.
