You knew it was coming the day after Christmas when the grocery stores took down all their festive merchandise and started displaying chocolate hearts and fake roses: Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays people either love or hate and more times than not, people are leaning more towards the hate side. Even if you have a significant other to celebrate the day with, it always seems like a hassle to plan something just as special as your special someone. If you’re over the dinner and a movie dates or homemade meals over a dusty tablecloth, look no further — Head over the the Florida Aquarium.
The Florida Aquarium is here to help spice up your Valentine’s Day plans with a dinner among stingrays, sand tiger sharks, sea turtles, and fish.
What does the night include?
The Valentine’s Day event will start at 7pm with a walk through the aquarium filled with surprises you might haven’t seen yet if you’ve been before. After your stroll under the sea, you and your date will enjoy a candlelight dinner starting at 8pm. Tables will be surrounded by sea creature exhibits such as sea turtles and stingrays for a guaranteed colorful and interesting dinner.
All tickets for the Valentine’s Day dinner at The Florida Aquarium include a commemorative souvenir photo of you and your date as a keep sake for a memorable night. General tickets are $125 per person and include the photo, walk through aquarium, and dinner. VIP tickets are $150 per person and include everything listed above along with a reserved table for dinner placed right next tot he acrylic of the Coral Reef habitat with sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and fish for an even closer up look of the beautiful creatures at The Florida Aquarium.
