Calling all “yogis”: a Baptiste-inspired Yoga studio, SunState Yoga, is opening in St. Pete this Saturday, December 7th! Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or pro, this new yoga experience has something for everyone and they are so excited to open their doors to you very soon.
About the Studio
The studio will place a heavy emphasis on the community and will open its doors for everyone. In fact, owner, St. Pete Native, and yogi, Carrington Kilgroe believes that “yoga is for everyone. You don’t need experience, fancy poses, or expensive gear to be a yogi. All you need to do is say “yes” and make it to a yoga class”. With all of that in mine, Kilgroe is proud to introduce SunState Yoga! We just love the way she thinks and her outlook on yoga as a practice or experience and less on those details that don’t really matter.
Check out this quote from Kilgroe: “My intention is to be a forklift for others and help them find happiness, confidence, inspiration and see how much they truly are capable of. I want people to have a place where they can walk in and feel like they’re coming home,” Kilgroe said. “SunState Yoga is all about real people and a practice that drives real growth. We choose inspiration, connection and creating community over showy poses.”
About Carrington Kilgroe
Before Kilgroe really found her yogi passions, she was a marketer in Atlanta, Georgia. Under stress and loads of pressure, she began taking classes to help alleviate that tension. Slowly, with class after class, Kilgroe was hooked and thus began her yogi journey to greatness! She began as a student and then found great gratification in teaching. Now, years later, she’s come full circle as she’s ready to open up her own studio in her town.
Now, her studio will be a place full of empowerment, especially of female entrepreneurs under the age of 30. The female spirit is celebrated at SunState Yoga with a female staff! The energy in SunState will truly be like no other and will be a fantastic addition to the Tampa Bay fitness scene.
About the Details
To hit the ground running this month, SunState is offering a month full of unlimited yoga…yes unlimited yoga for only $35!! That’s a huge savings of over 60% off of their normal rate. You really can’t beat that deal and what better way to support your local businesses, right? “This studio is as inclusive as possible. The initial discounted rate provides an opportunity for those who wouldn’t typically try out yoga and for others who believe they cannot afford it,” says Kilgroe – we love her already! Not convinced yet? While their Grand Opening Party this Saturday quickly sold out, their doors will officially be open for classes every day of the week and you won’t want to miss out on any of the fun at SunState … especially this month! Go show your yogi sisters some love.
