The movie moves back and forth between the present and the past, as Clarence, Kilian’s niece, tries to understand more about her father’s past. Love comes in different forms and sisterly love is one of the most powerful feelings a human can feel. A Pesar de Todo tells the story of four sisters who learn her mother’s death that their father is not their biological father. Even more shocking, her mother wasn’t even sure if they shared the same biological father. Because of this, they start an adventurous quest to find their real fathers.
