On October 13th and 14th, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be performed live and in concert at the Straz Center for Performing Arts! Seeing Harry Potter at the Straz is perfect for the experience of a lifetime.

At the Straz, you’ll get a date night experience like no other. With multiple different restaurants located on site, you can get a pre-show meal without a problem. Even if you don’t want to get a meal at any of the restaurants within the Straz Center, you can still find some food with many restaurants and food stands located within walking distance of the building. The location of the Straz is also perfect for date night because it’s located right on the Tampa Riverwalk, meaning you and your date can also enjoy a nice walk along the water before or after the show. Planning a date at the Straz Center is always a good idea, but with Harry Potter coming soon, you can bet that it’ll be the best one for months.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third book in the popular series by J.K. Rowling. Over the years, the books, movies, and the wizarding world as a whole have become an almost ubiquitous part of the human pop culture experience. If you’re not familiar with the Potterverse, this series tells the story of a young wizard who must encounter the evils of a vengeful wizard while learning to be a wizard himself and making friends and enemies alike. The series has 7 books total with movie adaptations existing for each of them. If you want backstory before heading to see the musical adaptation of book 3 at the Straz, you can pick up the books and read or watch the movie adaptations beforehand.
Tickets
To see Harry Potter at the Straz, you’ll have to buy your tickets ahead of time at the Straz Center website. They’re starting at $48.75 each, so make sure you plan for that and buy your ticket early!
