If you've ever thought to yourself, “Oh, that looks delicious” when watching a movie with food on the screen, now is your chance to try it out. Gigglewaters' Cinema Super Series is one of the coolest and most unique date night ideas, especially for cinemaphiles and foodies alike!
What is Gigglewaters?
Gigglewaters is a 1920s-inspired social club and movie screening room located in Safety Harbor that has reimagined the way we experience dinner and a movie!
On select nights in their screening room, Gigglewaters offers different movies—classics and new age—for $5.35 (before taxes and fees), where you can dine, watch, and enjoy! Of course, food selections are an additional cost to the price of your movie ticket.
Guests can enjoy selections from their American comfort food menu, with personalized touches that add an extra layer of uniqueness to the venue. On the menu, you'll find various appetizers, Giggle Dippers, their Giggle Dogs, Giggle Burgers, and, of course, you can't forget dessert!
If you need help making a decision on what to order, Gigglewaters' burgers are made with Wagyu beef and have previously been voted the best in Tampa Bay. They also sport an award-winning, signature cocktail list along with a beer and wine list. Talk about pulling out all the stops!
To add to the already epic dinner menu that Gigglewaters offers, they also have a brunch menu that is available every day until 2 p.m. On this menu, you can find breakfast staples like omelets and French toast, and unique items like their Tot Pots, which feature tater tots with different toppings!
What is a movie without popcorn? Gigglewaters has gourmet popcorn that you can get with classic butter, or you can try one of their other jazzed-up options like White Truffle, Garlic Bread, or Sweet & Salty!
What can I expect from the Cinema Supper Series?
With each Cinema Supper Series movie comes 10 courses of cocktails and cuisine that are served at the EXACT moment they are seen on screen. The courses and their movie reference names are kept a secret and are only announced on the day of the event, but you may be able to get a gist of the menu by watching (or rewatching) the movie.
On certain occasions, guests are also treated to bonus entertainment. For example, during their Coming to America Cinema Supper Series, the PHUHS cheerleaders stopped by to dance in the aisles during the movie's royal engagement announcement. Staff will also dress up in costume to fit the movie, talk about extra fun!

How do I get tickets for the Cinema Supper Series at Gigglewaters?
The easiest way to stay in the loop about their upcoming Cinema Supper Series is by following their Instagram and Facebook. There are only 32 seats in the theater, and tickets are offered first to those who attended the last Cinema Supper Series movie. So, be sure you turn their post notifications on, because when these movie tickets go on sale, they sell out FAST!
Tickets are sold through Toast Tab. To purchase, visit their Toast Tab site and navigate to “Events”, click Cinema Supper Series, and choose your preferred date. Most of the time, there is only one evening for the Cinema Supper Series, unless it is a holiday feature or special, and they usually do not repeat movies for the supper showings.
Tickets vary in price depending on the movie menu, but previous ticket prices have been $90-100 per person. For 10 courses and a movie, that's not a bad deal!
Important: You have to place your online ticket orders during normal business hours. If you add the tickets to your cart during business hours and get an “Out of Stock” message, it means that date has sold out.
General Movie Screenings at Gigglewaters
Movie screenings are offered most days at Gigglewaters. You can find their upcoming movie showings on their website, and sometimes they will post the entire month of movies on their Facebook or Instagram.
As previously mentioned, these movie showings are $5.35. Ordering any food or drinks will cost additional, but the prices are more than fair for the experience!
