Independence Day is fast approaching, and that means it’s time to figure out how to celebrate. This year, there are a number of cool Fourth of July fireworks displays and events in Tampa Bay for you to choose from. Tampa’s Boom by the Bay 2021

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 5-7pm

Tampa is going BIG for this year’s Fourth of July celebration. Enjoy six different fireworks displays along the downtown Tampa riverfront with activities and events at each location. There will also be a new Friends of the Riverwalk July 4th Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet along the Tampa Riverwalk.

Boom by the Bay events and fireworks locations:

  • Independence Day in the Heights at Armature Works: 5pm
  • Tampa Convention Center/The Sail Pavilion: 5pm (The Sail opens at 11am)
  • Hard Rock Take Over at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park: 7pm
  • Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park presented by Downtown Partnership: 7pm
  • Star Spangled at Sparkman: live music beginning at 3:30pm, fireworks at 9pm
  • Bayshore Boulevard (South of Davis Islands Bridge): 7pm

Yacht Starship Fourth of July Tampa Fireworks Cruises

Sunday, July 4, 2021 boarding at 7pm

Tampa's Yacht Starship cruises are a perfect choice for your Independence Day celebration. Spark! A Nighttime Spectacular at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Just in time for the 4th of July, Busch Gardens has launched a brand new nighttime fireworks show called “Spark!” which you can see nightly through August 8, 2021. Plus, enjoy roller coasters, rides, shows and more during extended nighttime hours as part of Summer Nights. This celebration is included with your daily park admission or pass.

The Fourth: Independence Day Celebration at St. Pete Pier

July 2 – 4, 2021 with fireworks on July 4

Fireworks are BACK in St. Pete this year and the festivities are happening at the brand new St. Pete Pier. This new celebration will include tons of activities all weekend long, including:

  • Inaugural St. Pete Pier Run
  • Silent disco
  • Gulp Coast Craft Beer Garden
  • Food trucks + vendors
  • Pie eating contest
  • Live music
  • Karaoke
  • Outdoor movie: Independence Day
  • Roaming entertainers

The City of St. Pete's traditional Fourth of July fireworks show will take place Sunday, July 4 at 9pm and will be visible from the entire Downtown waterfront, including Bayshore Dr., Straub Parks, Vinoy Park, and others.

Treasure Island 4th of July Fireworks

Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 9pm

Watch a stunning display of patriotic fireworks from the beach. You’ll want to arrive a bit early to ensure you get a parking spot. There will be parking available for $20 at Treasure Island Park.

Clearwater Celebrates America at the Ball Park

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 7-9:45pm

Celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks show the stadium has seen! Instead of being hosted at Coachman Park this year (which is under construction), the fun is moving to BayCare Ballpark. This year’s event is ticketed, so you’ll need to buy your $5 ticket in advance. There will be live music by The Black Honkeys, family-friendly fun and of course, a spectacular fireworks display set to music.

Fourth of July Clearwater Fireworks Dinner Cruise

Sunday, July 4, 2021 boarding at 7pm

The Clearwater Yacht Starship dinner cruise is the perfect place to celebrate this year's Independence Day. There will be a 4th of July buffet, an open bar, a live DJ, dancing, and a beautiful view of the fireworks from Coachman Park. Tickets sell out early, so make sure to get yours soon.

Tarpon Springs Fireworks at Sunset Beach

Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 8:30pm

In addition to the City of Tarpon Springs' annual Fourth of July picnic earlier in the day, enjoy a festive fireworks display launched from Sunset Beach. The show kicks off at around 8:30pm with the best viewing at Fred Howard Park. Once the park reaches capacity the gate will be closed, so plan accordingly.

Fourth of July Fireworks in Largo at Largo Central Park

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 7-9pm

Celebrate the country’s birthday with food, entertainment and activities for all-ages! There will also be fireworks, so bring your blankets and chairs. The event is free to attend, but parking is $10.

Safety Harbor Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 10am-noon and 5-9pm (fireworks at 9pm)

In the morning wear your red, white and blue to Main Street in Safety Harbor for a patriotic Independence Day parade. At night, head over to the Safety Harbor marina for live entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors and more. And of course, you don’t want to miss the fireworks show at 9pm.

Temple Terrace Independence Day Celebration

Sunday, July 4, 2021 beginning at 10am (parade) to 9:45pm (fireworks at 9:15pm)

For a fun parade, head to Temple Terrace in the morning. Then, at night, the celebration will continue with food vendors, music, and a fireworks show at 9:15pm.

6th Annual Zephyrhills Summerfest and Fireworks

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from noon – 9:30pm

After going on hiatus in 2020 like almost every other event, Summerfest is coming back strong with a day filled with FREE family-friendly fun! There will be live music, food eating contests, kids dance off, live music, market, bounce house and water slides, food trucks, and so much more.

July 4th Celebration at Avalon Park West

Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 5-9pm

For a celebration including food trucks, community performances, bike parades, contests, bounce park and much more, head to Avalon Park West! This event is free to the public. There will also be a fireworks show for you to enjoy at 9pm.

The Friends of the Riverwalk will celebrate July 4th with an inaugural July 4th Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet. The parade route will be similar to the holiday lighted boat parade, plus three blessing stations.
