Craft River Cruise Tampa

Move over, Europe…downtown Tampa is about to get its own fine dining river cruise when CRAFT sets sail for the first time on March 8, 2024.

It will be a first of its kind in Florida, with a low profile of only 11 feet high and 130 feet long so it can easily fit underneath Tampa’s bridges as it sails along the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa’s channels. If you’ve walked along the river banks in Europe, a glance at CRAFT will remind you of the European river cruises that sail along the Seine in Paris.

This isn’t your typical dining cruise. CRAFT sets itself apart as a fine dining destination on the water thanks to executive chef Allison Beasman, formerly of Edison Food and Drink Lab.

“Tampa is a food-forward destination,” said Executive Chef Beasman. “I’m inspired by the
concept of CRAFT: craft of culinary arts, craft of elevated cocktails and spirits, craft of a vessel
that takes you on an explorative journey. I look forward to welcoming guests on the Craft
journey.”

CRAFT Dining Options and Cost

Guests will board CRAFT from the Yacht StarShip dock at Sparkman Wharf in Tampa for the two hour cruise whether it’s for brunch, lunch, or dinner. We got a peek of the menu and it looks fantastic. The three course meal includes a wide variety of offerings along with an extensive cocktail, beer, wine and zero-proof options.

Prices for the three course meals start at about $79.95.

There will be three different dining options: indoor, outdoor, and bar. While indoor dining may be tempting, we have a feeling the outdoor dining option will be in high demand for the very best views of our beautiful city!

Just like with the other Yacht StarShip vessels, you will be able to book CRAFT for special events as well, so add this to your list of places to host a birthday party!

We’ll be sure to sail on one of the maiden voyages to bring you the full details, so stay tuned!
