DASH, also known as Downtown Area Shared Hubs, is absolutely perfect for any couple looking to spend a fantastic night downtown, whether you're bar hopping or dining at one of Tampa Bay's best restaurants!
The service first began in late 2023 as a way for locals and visitors to traverse downtown from hub to hub, without worrying about a designated driver, walking and the busy streets, or parking.
What does DASH cost to request a ride?
DASH ride services are requested through an app, and cost $2 per person, per ride. DASH drivers are part of the Partnership’s Downtown Ambassadors team, ensuring that passengers are taking a ride with someone who knows the area like the back of their hand!
What are the DASH hubs?
The hubs are strategically placed in safe, high-demand areas that riders can reach within a 7-minute walk.
Since 2023, DASH has added more than 30 hubs across Downtown's seven neighborhoods, and the digital hubs model allows for temporary adjustments during road closures, special events, or construction.
DASH also complements other transit options like the TECO Line streetcar and HART busses.
How do I start using DASH?
Simply search DASH Tampa on your Android or iPhone app store, then sign up for an account and enter the personal information requested. It's that simple!
To schedule a ride, use the app and enter the address of where you want to go. The DASH car will pick you up from the closest hub to where you are, and drop you off at the nearest hub to where you want go!
DASH Accommodates Disabilities
DASH services are accessible to persons with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible rides are provided by Wheelchair Transport Service, a DASH Tampa partner.
Passengers can request a wheelchair-accessible ride are encouraged to call ahead to request a ride at (813) 540-3333 or by emailing rides@wheelchairtransport.com.
