Unwinding after a long day at work doesn’t have to break the bank!  We’ve found some of the best happy hours in Tampa not only for drinks but also food! Fill up before a Lightning game or host a great date without letting your bank account run dry.  Get a couple of your closest friends and use this list of Tampa happy hours to choose your next spot for a night out.

Remember, happy hour specials are subject to change, so double check with the restaurant before you go.

South Tampa Happy Hour

Craft

Hop aboard the Craft and set sail on a happy hour cruise down the Hillsborough River. The cruise features three specifically curated small bite samples and unparalleled views of Downtown Tampa.

The 1.5-hour journey incudes a reserved table or bar stool, small plates from the Craft menu, and happy hour drink specials. The cruises set sail on Saturdays from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm and cost $59.95 per person.

Green Lemon

Green Lemon’s happy hour happens every day of the week from 3pm to 7pm. Their “Fiesta Hour” menu includes things like $5 Sangria and three tacos for $10. Splurge on a Maragrona for just $13. Green Lemon always has great service and food which makes it an awesome place to spend happy hour.

Bella’s Italian Cafe

Bella’s happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm and includes specials on wine, cocktails and select food items.

Haven

Happy hour at Haven lasts from 5 to 7pm every day of the week. Owned by the talented folks at Bern’s, this spot is known by locals as one of the best spots for foodies. Enjoy the best charcuterie, wine, and steaks, each with special accompanying flavors.

The happy hour menu varies but includes great prices on sharable bites, wine by the glass, cocktails, and beer. Burgers are $12 and cheese plates are only $10. Tuesday through Thursday these specials are available regardless of where you sit, but on Friday and Saturday they’re only available at the bar and on the patio.

Ava

For an Italian inspired Tampa happy hour, try Ava. This is a great spot to visit after work, as the atmosphere provides a true escape from the day-to-day. During happy hour, served weekdays from 5-7pm, indulge in $9 handcrafted cocktails, $6 wines by the glass, pizzas (try the yummy mushroom pizza!), and discounted appetizers.

FYI: happy hour is only available at the bar, and happy hour food is only available from 5-7pm.

Bulla Gastrobar

Every day from 3-7pm, you can take advantage of $3 off bottled beers and pinta drafts, $8 specialty cocktails, $7 house liquors, $8 house martinis, $7 sangrias, and special deals on select wines.

Blind Goat

Happy hour at Blind Goat isn’t just one hour, it’s four. From 3 -7pm Monday through Friday there’s quite a few drink specials. Premium wells are $4 house wines are $5 and the cocktail/food special of the day is $5. There’s also specials that rotate by day worth checking out, like $6 giant Bavarian pretzels on Thursdays.

Ybor Happy Hour

Barterhouse Ybor

Barterhouse in Ybor is a hit with the Tampa locals, as a luxurious spot for a delicious dinner. Their creative twist on American cuisine features eclectic flavors, even during happy hour.

Visit daily from 4:30-6:30pm to treat yourself to special deals on select wines, select cocktails, and amazing bar bites. Try the Smash Burger, Bacon Wrapped Dates, and Korean Chicken Wings, all featured on the happy hour menu.

Bradley’s On 7th

Every day is happy at Bradley’s with their almost unbeatable happy hour. Every day until 9pm, all drinks are two for one, making it the perfect place to end your day and start your night. Plus, NY NY Pizza is right next door. What else could you want?

Bernini of Ybor

Bernini of Ybor not only has a great drink special with their $3 Skyy martinis every day until 7pm, but they turn it up a notch with their food happy hour. Seminole Heights Happy Hour

The C House

Monday through Friday from 3pm to 5:30pm enjoy great prices on all your favorite “C” foods. Charcuterie, chicken wings, cauliflower bites, cheeseburgers – and of course select champagne ($8) and cocktails ($9). Pair it with wings or charcuterie and you’ll be set for the evening.

The Front Porch

Happy hour on the Front Porch is from 4 to 7pm Monday through Saturday. House wines and cocktails are just $4.00, with discounts on beer and sangria as well. Fridays and Saturdays also offer 99-cent wings from 4 to 6pm.

Downtown Tampa Happy Hour

American Social

At this downtown waterfront spot, you can enjoy $6 hornitos margaritas, $8 premium liquors, $10 hand-crafted cocktails, $7 call liquors, $6 house liquors, $6 house wines, and $6 select draft beers. Happy hour takes place Monday-Friday from 4-7pm.

GenX Tavern

From Monday-Friday from 3-7pm, grab $2 off draft beers, $8 rotating signature cocktails, $6 Florida Green Tea Shots, $6 house liquors, and $7 house wines. You can also nosh on $6 corn dog nuggets and pickle chips, $8 GenX Smashburgers, and a one-topping pizza for $10

Hotel Bar

Chic and cozy, Hotel Bar is such a gem in downtown Tampa. Their happy hour specials are especially enticing. Each weekday from 4 to 6pm draft beers are $5, $3 off wine glasses and select cocktails (the star of the show) for $9.

Yeoman’s Cask and Lion

Fill up before the Lightning game and avoid high drink prices at Amalie Arena by stopping for a drink at Yeoman’s Cask and Lion. Every weekday from 3-5pm, get $2 off all drinks. Pair your beverages with a few hearty dishes from the main menu to share with a group of friends.

Westshore District Happy Hour

Kona Grill

For a sushi twist on your happy hour, there are amazing deals at Kona Grill. After a day of shopping at International Plaza, make your way to this nearby Japanese-inspired New American restaurant for a bite to eat and overflowing sake. They host a great early bird happy hour and late night happy hour to keep you satisfied. Enjoy discount sushi, egg rolls, and sake bombs.

Happy hour is served Monday-Friday from 2-6pm and late night Monday-Thursday from 9pm until closing time. Enjoy Select discounted appetizers and drink specials like $3 shots of sake, $6 wines and $9 sake bombers.

Ocean Prime

This high end spot just outside International Plaza has happy hour from 4-6pm Monday-Friday. Enjoy $5 off lounge menu, cocktails and wine. Only available for patrons seated in the bar and lounge.

Cooper’s Hawk

Cooper’s Hawk is a great Tampa happy hour spot that has some great specials from 3-5:30pm every weekday. Enjoy some of their best appetizers at a discounted price. House wines by the glass are $9.50 or upgrade to the lux & international line for $11.50 a glass. Select cocktails are available for $10.50. You’ll find discounts on apps, soups, and flat breads as well.
