Walt Disney World New Year’s Eve

Walt Disney World has two fireworks shows at two of its theme parks. Disney Enchantment and Harmonious are scheduled for much earlier than normal that day. Disney will have an additional New Year’s Eve fireworks show that night. EPCOT tends to have a party environment during New Year’s Eve with dance parties and DJs in many of the World Showcase pavilions, and hats and horns being distributed to guests in the evening.

Important note: Walt Disney World requires a park pass reservation for all of its theme parks. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will most likely book to capacity. Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando do not require reservations, but parking and the parks themselves can reach capacity. It is best to head to any theme park on any big holiday as early as possible and plan to spend your whole day, and night, there.

Universal Orlando New Year’s Eve

Universal Orlando New Year’s Eve
This year’s in-park celebrations are expanding to include festivities in both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure – allowing guests to ring in the new year by enjoying unparalleled theme park thrills and exciting entertainment. In addition to experiencing popular attractions across both parks, guests can revel in festive décor, dance along to music by a live DJ, and enjoy special appearances by beloved characters.

As the clock approaches midnight, guests can join a special countdown that will culminate with colorful confetti blasts and other celebratory elements. Access to the festivities is included in theme park admission and will take place at Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza area and Universal Islands of Adventure’s Port of Entry area, with both theme parks remaining open until 1 a.m.

Universal CityWalk
Universal CityWalk will host a special countdown to midnight that will culminate with tons of confetti to ring in the new year. Guests will also encounter additional festive entertainment – including music by a live band and DJ – as they make their way around the electrifying entertainment complex. Plus, Bigfire – one of Universal CityWalk’s original concept restaurants – will feature a special menu from midnight to 1:30 a.m. to commemorate the new year.

SeaWorld Orlando New Year’s Eve

Fireworks start close to midnight with a grand finale ringing in 2024 right at midnight. SeaWorld for New Year’s Eve is a top pick for date night because they are the only theme park that offers reserved seating for their fireworks. Purchase the New Year’s Eve Reserved Show Seating and get reserved seating to the Winter Wonderland skate show, then stay in your seats for the New Year’s Eve fireworks.
