Epic Universe is Universal Orlando Resort's most ambitious park yet, and if you're thinking about checking it out with your partner, you're probably wondering how much it will cost. After visiting myself already (thanks to the annual passholder preview tickets), and planning a return in June, I have been planning and budgeting for a while to make sure we get our money's worth.
This new theme park is equal parts thrilling adult escape and of course, family-friendly fun. Here’s what to expect for spending money, plus a few ways to stretch your dollars while still having an unforgettable time.

Epic Universe Costs
Park Tickets
Universal has released single-day Epic Universe tickets, and opening month is already sold out! For the rest of 2025, you can expect to pay about $175–$190 per adult for a one-day, one-park ticket. But keep an eye out for Florida Resident discounts!!
If you want to add Express Pass (which lets you skip most lines), expect to spend another $300–$400 per person, depending on the season and demand. If you're going during peak times or on a weekend, it may be worth the splurge, but I am also a big fan of early entry that is granted to guests staying at official Universal Orlando hotels, including the Epic Universe hotels.

Parking
General parking is $30, and while it’s similar to other Universal parks, be prepared for a long walk to the entrance. There are no moving walkways, and the lot isn’t covered, so plan ahead with sunscreen, hats, or UV umbrellas.

Pro-tip: Every restroom in Epic Universe has a water bottle refill station, making it super easy to stay hydrated.
Food & Drinks
Dining at Epic Universe is part of the fun. Expect to spend about $16–$20 per person for quick-service meals, such as Pizza Moon or Toadstool Café. Mocktails are surprisingly excellent across the park, with creative options and decent portion sizes for around $6–$9 each.
Specialty adult beverages are about $15-$18 each. My favorite mocktails are found at Celestiki in Celestial Park between Super Nintendo World and Dark Universe. And Bar Zenith is another standalone bar in the back of Celestial Park with an awesome drink menu and beautiful views.
A couple might spend:
- Quick-service lunch: $40
- Snacks or drinks: $30
- Optional dinner or second round of drinks: $45–60
TOTAL = $120 – $230

Souvenirs (Yes, Even for Grown-Ups)
Epic Universe has some seriously tempting merch, and not just for kids. Some of the best options:
- $20 Dragon plush from Toothless Treasures (yes, technically for kids, but we won’t judge)
- Power-Up Bands in Super Nintendo World ($40) if you're competitive and want to interact with the games
- New Wizarding World wands ($85) with new interactive effects and beautiful designs
- Mugs, glasses and fun park-specific items ($15–25)
If you're souvenir-minded, plan to spend around $50–$125 total as a couple.

Optional Extras
- Locker rental (if you're planning to ride or buy a lot): $12 per day
- Towels or ponchos for Fyre Drill (water ride): You can bring your own or purchase on-site
Sample Budget for Two Adults
- Park Tickets: $300–$400
- Parking: $30
- Food & Drinks: $120-$230
- Souvenirs: $50–100
- Total: $500–$750 for the day
Add Express Pass and you'll be looking at an additional $600+ for two.
Tips to Save
- Skip Express Pass and go early in the day and wait for the last hour of park operation for low waits
- Bring a refillable water bottle (filling stations are everywhere)
- Pack ponchos or towels in a small backpack
- Budget for one fun souvenir, not five
- Opt for a few mocktails – they're half the cost!

Final Thoughts
Epic Universe is a big day out, but with a little planning, it can feel more like a VIP experience than a budget buster. Go in with a flexible budget, stay hydrated, and leave room for a mocktail or two—you’ll be glad you did.
