April 12-14, 2019 St. Petersburg will be hosting the annual Blues Festival.

Rated one of the best blues festivals in the country, St. Pete offers couples three days of incredible music in the beautiful and tropical setting of Vinoy Park. Artists such as Jonny Lang, Samantha Fish, and Kenny Neal will be in attendance, as well as many other talented blues musicians. Whether you are a blues fanatic or just a lover of music, The Original Tampa Bay Blues Festival is a perfect weekend date idea for all.

In terms of tickets, couples can choose to purchase 3-day passes, which includes admission to all shows, all three days of the festival. These tickets are currently going for $115 per person. If you and your significant other decide you want to attend just one of the days, you can also purchase a single day ticket for $50 per person for Friday/Saturday and $40 for Sunday.

As revealed, however, purchasing the 3-day pass is the best bet for your buck. Once you order online via the Fest’s website, you and your loved one will receive your passes in the mail.

The gates open at 11:30 am on Friday and Saturday and a little later, at 12 pm on Sunday. Blues musicians will be playing all day until 10 p.m. each night.

This year the musical lineup is unbeatable:

Couples can enjoy seafood, BBQ, Cuban cuisine and more while jamming out to the blues. With this being said, Festgoers are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink as there are plenty of options for purchase within the park.

If you and your loved one choose to drive to The Fest, there are multiple parking garages nearby to park your car. If you are planning on drinking, there is also a free festival shuttle running each day. More information about this can be found on The Fest’s website.

Head down to Vinoy Park on April 12 and jam out with other music lovers alike for a weekend you’ll never forget!
