On March 16-18, Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, FL will be holding the 4th annual Reggae Rise Up Music Festival. The festival will be hosting 25+ artists including Rebelution, Tribal Seeds, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Matisyahu, and Soja. The fest used to be one day, gradually moving up to two days due to increased popularity. Now, as a three-day fest for the first time, people are coming from far and wide to listen to the music. As Bob Marley would say, “We Jammin!”

In terms of tickets, a general admission “three day pass,” which includes access to all shows, all three days, is currently $110 per person. If you decide to go for just one of the days, you and your loved one can purchase a “single day pass” which run for $55 each.

If you want a more up-close experience with the artists playing at this year’s fest, you can also choose to purchase a VIP “three day pass,” which is currently running for $225. Check out the Reggae Rise Up Music Festival site to see the other benefits that come with a VIP pass.

These passes come in a form of a wristband to make things a bit easier for you and your loved one. You can connect it with your credit card online to make buying drinks, food, and other souvenirs in the park that much easier.

In addition, if you are bringing your car, parking passes are $25 per car. Although this may seem like an expensive date for some couples, the music and good vibes throughout the weekend will make it more than worth it.

The music starts at 1:30 p.m. on both Friday and Sunday and at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the gates opening thirty minutes prior. The music goes all day, with the last set finishing up around 10 p.m. Dance all day long and have an experience you and your date will remember forever!

For those of you who are festival “first timers,” make sure to check out the “Can and Cant’s” located on their site before entering the park. This reminds you that items such as outside food and alcohol are prohibited, as there are tons of vendors within the fest that can satisfy your hunger and thirst.

Their site also gives you hotel options close by for those of you who may be traveling into St. Pete for the event and would like to stay within the area.

Buy your tickets before it’s too late as Reggae Rise Up is right around the corner. You and your loved one can’t miss out on the best year of Reggae Rise Up thus far!
