The ships will celebrate his legacy, and the way he lived his life – supporting others and the community to make this world a better place – with on-ship activations, specials, a Day of Service, and more.
Margaritaville at Sea is a fully reimagined ship that sails from Tampa with four and five-night cruises to Key West, Cozumel, and Progresso (Mexico).
How to Celebrate Jimmy Buffett Day on Margaritaville at Sea
From August 28 through September 4, all bars on both ships will be serving signature drinks in special commemorative cups. For every drink sold, $1 dollar will benefit “Singing for Change,” a non-profit organization created by Jimmy in 1995, and other organizations around the world.
Signature drinks include the Mango Sunset Margarita and Caribbean Sandbar, along with LandShark Lager, Michelob Ultra, and Bud Light.
You can also purchase exclusive commemorative merchandise which will be available for purchase in retail outlets on both ships, with a portion of proceeds also benefitting “Singing for Change.”
On Jimmy Buffett Day (August 30) and over Labor Day Weekend, the crew and other team members of Margaritaville at Sea will participate in a brand-wide “Day of Service” initiative, donating their time to various local charitable organizations.
