Go Ice Skating with Someone Special this Holiday in Tampa Bay!

Put on your sweaters and boots and take your date for a night out ice skating in Tampa Bay! Whether you’re an experienced skater or a novice waiting to learn, ice skating makes for a perfect date. And since we’re into the holiday season, you have more options than ever on where to go!

Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park

The ice-skating rink at the Curtis Hixon Winter Village allows you to skate with beautiful views of the Tampa Riverwalk and Hillsborough River. If you don’t have your own ice skates, not to worry – skate rental is included in your ticket purchase! Ice skating is $17 including skate rental and 90 minutes on the ice.

After you’re done, stroll the holiday market for some unique holiday gifts. New this year – you can also play a fun game of curling or sip on a festive cocktail like the Campfire Old Fashioned.

AdventHealth Center Ice

Skate through the largest ice facility in the Southeast! This 150,000 square foot rink in Wesley Chapel includes 5 rinks. In addition to programs like ice hockey, figure skating, and curling, there are also open times for public skate.

This holiday season, you can even partake in themed skating days such as Ugly Christmas Sweater, Snowman, Holiday Pajama, and Santa Costume. Every Friday night, enjoy a 2-hour public skate with a DJ and colorful lights. Public skating is $10 per session and $7 for skate rental. Friday night sessions are $25 plus skate rental.

TGH Ice Plex

Formerly called Brandon Ice Sports Forum, there are different public skating session available for a cool date night. On select nights you can even skate with a live DJ playing music.

Once you’re tired of skating, you can play some laser tag, eat at the café or grill and sports bar, or play some games at the arcade. No matter what you do, your date will be lots of fun. Admission for ice skating is $8-10 and $5 for skate rental.

Tampa Bay Skating Academy and Clearwater Ice Arena

At any of the three locations of the Tampa Bay Skating Academy (Oldsmar, Clearwater, and Countryside), you and your date can spin around the rink for a thrilling date.

You and your significant other can skate for 90 minutes and spend the rest of the day together getting a meal at the Bar and Grill or stroll Countryside Mall to do some Christmas shopping. Pricing varies per location.
