There’s a new event space and food hall in town. Dunedin Mix recently opened its doors, dubbing itself “a fresh take on the old food hall concept.”

This new concept is located on the corner of Broadway and Skinner Blvd. in Dunedin and is the brainchild of mother and son duo, Brandon Stanley and Kristen Ernst.

The space was originally meant to turn into 4-story townhomes and after several design changes, was decided that it would serve a better purpose as a mixed-use concept for the Dunedin community.

The food hall currently features four restaurants, two retail boutiques, and a rotating craft cocktail bar. Keep reading to find out more about this new Dunedin hot spot.

The Ambiance at Dunedin Mix

The outside of the building is a towering two-story building that mixes modern features with vintage charm. You can enter from either side of the building, though the right entrance offers a fun spot for a quick photo op with its 1920s-esque vibe, fleur de lis staircase, and bright purple painting framing the doorway.

Dunedin Mix is an open-air concept that gives off the vibe of a quaint, outdoor courtyard. Astroturf and brightly colored plants and faux-greenery walls add a pop of color, while the Circle 1852 carousel bar in the back adds a touch of glamour.

The restaurants are lined up along the far left and right sides of the walls and offer to-go windows for ordering.

Restaurants at Dunedin Mix

Dunedin already has some of our favorite restaurants for a date night, and the spots at Dunedin Mix certainly check all the boxes.

Seating options at Dunedin Mix

Once you place your order, there are plenty of seating options. You can sit at one of the regular or high-top tables scattered throughout the courtyard or head upstairs to one of their bistro tables lining the patio.

If you want a more laid-back option, take a seat on one of the couches and comfy chairs for a more relaxed vibe.

Circle 1852

Circle 1852 is the premier rotating craft cocktail bar with a French Industrialist/mixologist theme. There are 21 seats available where you can hang out and watch as their mixologists create unique concoctions like the Amethyst (Stoli, elderflower, butterfly pea tea, lavender, sage, and lemon) or the Bourbon Street Espresso Martini. They also have a full menu of craft beers and wines.
