World-renowned felt artist Lucy Sparrow is bringing her whimsical creations back to Tampa Bay with “Lucy Sparrow's Quick Shop” this time at FloridaRAMA in St. Pete beginning November 21, 2025, and this is the perfect whimsical date night for couples looking to unleash a bit of their inner child!

Lucy Sparrow is a British artist renowned for her unique and immersive felt installations filled with thousands of handmade items. Over the past decade, she has created fifteen critically acclaimed exhibitions around the world, including a chemist and a fish and chip shop in London, a bagel deli in New York, a supermarket in Los Angeles, and a McDonald's in Miami.
Lucy was commissioned by the late HM Queen Elizabeth II to create a Jubilee installation for Buckingham Palace, and in 2024 was the global holiday artist for Diptyque!
She previously had a “Tampa Fresh Foods” on Water Street back in 2022.
What makes “Lucy Sparrow's Quick Shop” unique?
Arguably, the best part about her exhibits is pretending you're actually in a supermarket and purchasing items right off the shelves. It's essentially a real gift shop where you can take home her unique pieces of art, and everything is SO cute!
Grab your shopping basket right at the entry of the exhibit, and get to shopping. When we say this space is so much fun, we really mean it! We felt like a childhood dream was finally unlocked, because who doesn't want to shop from an entire store made of felt?!
There are plenty of options with more than 13,000 pieces of felt creations to choose from within the 700 square-foot space, including produce like fruits and veggies, seafood, frozen meals, household items, and more.
Every piece is hand-cut, sewn, painted, and signed by Lucy, making this space a great way to take home a piece of the exhibit, great for any new collectors!
The Meat & Fish display is super adorable. Each of the items has its own set of eyes—talk about cute!
Some of these felt grocery items are intractable. The ground beef can come out of the package, and so can the raw chicken. The Spam Single also has a slice of Spam inside that you can take out! There is also great music playing over the speakers, the cherry on top of the immersion, if you ask us.
And feel free to shop with no pressure, you can stay inside the store for as long as you want! We walked around for quite some time before we decided on the pieces of art that we were going to take home.

The ticketed exhibit is open now; however, Lucy will be at FloridaRAMA on November 25, 26, and 28, 2025, if you're looking to shop the store with her!
