Summer in Tampa Bay will be here before you know it (is it ever really not summer here?) and we are lucky to be home to some pretty amazing resort pools. From beachfront pools with private cabanas to rooftop urban oases, there are plenty of places to lounge, take a dip, and enjoy a frozen cocktail. We’re sharing our favorite Tampa Bay resort pools by those offering day passes without an overnight stay, and pools that are exclusive for resort guests. Happy pool hopping!

Tampa Bay Resort Pools With Day Passes

Fenway Hotel

453 Edgewater Dr, Dunedin, FL 34698

Dunedin’s newest hotel has a fabulous old Florida vibe. The day pass options are pretty great. You can get a pool pass with complimentary valet parking, lounge chair, and towels starting at $20 per person, or spring for a bottomless brunch pass and enjoy all the mimosas you can for 2 hours, beginning at $45 per person.

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

100 Coronado Dr, Clearwater, FL 33767

Enjoy a gorgeous pool and access to Clearwater Beach with a resort pass from the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. Day passes start at $25 and include access to their heated pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, and poolside food and drink service.

JW Marriott Tampa Water Street

Soak in the views of downtown Tampa from the 6th-floor pool at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. Day passes start at $45 and include access to lounge chairs, towel service, and poolside food and drink service available for purchase. Cabanas start at $250 and include day passes for up to four people, a private, shaded cabana, 2 lounge chairs, and a complimentary fruit platter and bottled water.

Postcard Inn on the Beach

Enjoy a daycation at the historic Postcard Inn in St. Pete Beach. A day pass gets you access to the pool, a reserved lounge chair, and access to poolside service and start at $31. Cabana passes start at $250 and gets you and your guests a private cabana, bottled water, and a Choice of one carafe of Margarita, Rum Runner, or Mimosa

Tampa Marriott Water Street

Sip on poolside drinks in the middle of downtown Tampa at this centrally located property. Besides boasting some incredible views, this rooftop Tampa resort pool also offers poolside food and drink service, kayak and paddle board rentals, discounted parking, and more to day pass visitors. Day passes come in a variety of options, including $75 for a shaded daybed for two and $200 for a luxury cabana for four. Prices can vary depending on if you’re visiting on a weekday, weekend, or special event day.

The Godfrey

7700 W Courtney Campbell Cswy, Tampa, FL 33607

We love the options available for the Godfrey Hotel on Tampa’s Rocky Point. The Resort Pass options include cabanas for up to 8 people. Prices vary depending if you want a waterfront cabana or not, and by day of the week. But a non-waterfront cabana on a weekday can get as low as $60, and a waterfront on a weekend goes up to $250, and you must also meet a $150 food and beverage minimum (plus 23% service charge). Guests enjoy poolside food and drink service and complimentary wifi.

The Don CeSar

3400 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach, FL 33706

Bask in the shade of the iconic pink palace in St. Pete Beach. As an added bonus, the property recently got a bit more sparkly thanks to the completion of a 3-year renovation project. A day pass to the Don CeSar includes access to two resort pools, private beach access, locker rooms, complimentary wifi, and poolside food and drink service. Passes begin at $89 per person.

Hotel Alba

5303 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609

Get your drinks brought straight to your lounger at Hotel Alba in Tampa’s Westshore District. Day pass prices begin at $20, with cabana pricing starting at $100. The cabanas include passes for up to 5 people, with a shaded cabana and two lounge chairs. We’re partial to the tiki cabanas.

Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach

301 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767

The Hyatt Regency Resort Pass gets you access to their beautiful pool facing the Gulf and pristine Clearwater Beach. The resort offers poolside food and drink service, too. Day passes begin at $39, and private cabanas for up to five people begin at $209. The cabana has a TV, AC, a private half bath, and a dedicated server.

We’re suckers for a beachfront pool, and Treasure Island Beach Resort has a great one. As a bonus, they’re currently offering 20% off rates for Florida residents.

The Edge Hotel

The glass wall pool at The Edge Hotel in Clearwater Beach will make you feel like you’re swimming in the gulf. When you’re not lounging in the pool, snag a drink at the rooftop bar and enjoy a relaxing stay.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa

Guests at Tampa’s Hard Rock property have access to reserve some seriously nice cabanas. A regular cabana fits 8 people and can be reserved for $350, or upgrade to the VIP cabana (which comes with your own attendant and luxury loungers) for $500. There are also plenty of lounge chairs available plus a poolside bar and grill. Take your pick of three unique pool areas during your stay.
