Things To Do on Sundays in Tampa
The Superbowl has come and gone, which means football season is sadly over and Sundays have this weird, empty feeling to them. This doesn’t mean your Sundays have to turn into chore day, though. There are plenty of other things to do in Tampa Bay with your bae until next season.
Brunch
Tampa International World of Beer
With a choice of bottomless Mimosas, Beermosas, or Bloody Marys for just twelve dollars, World of Beer for brunch is a no-brainer. Their brunch starts at 11am and goes until 2pm with food choices like the Hangover Skillet (my personal favorite) or their Beer Batter Pancakes. You can sit inside or outside with two floors to choose from with great views and atmosphere.

Miguelito’s
Miguelito’s is a good choice for brunch because of their cheap bottomless Mimosa special. At just ten dollars, this bottomless deal is the cheapest one I’ve seen in the Tampa area. Their brunch is from 11am to 3pm and has great breakfast tacos, quesadillas, and bowls. They also have two different flavors of Mimosas, classic orange or watermelon, so you can switch it up throughout your meal.

The Lodge
The Lodge is one of the most versatile places in Tampa. They have a bar/club atmosphere at night, lunch, dinner, awesome musical performers, and Sunday Brunch. The reason why The Lodge’s brunch is on my list is because they have so many drink specials to chose from during brunch, not just your typical bottomless Mimosa deal. Not that bottomless Mimosas aren’t one of my favorite things about the weekends, but it is always nice to switch it up and try something new.

Hit The Beach
Whiskey Joe’s Bar and Grill
The beach is an obvious answer to a day off, but sometimes it becomes too much of a hassle to fight traffic all the way out there and then try to find a place to park and a place to set up your towels and coolers. Whiskey Joe’s is the perfect place to go if you are just trying to find a relaxing place to have a drink and soak up some sun. With a long list of food, beer, and cocktails, Whiskey Joe’s has something for everyone. They also have plenty of space for volleyball and cornhole to keep the day interesting.

Hula Bay
For another close by beach scene, head over to Hula Bay where there is live music every Sunday at 1pm and 6pm. Hula Bay’s menu is filled with sushi, seafood, sharable appetizers, tacos, and sandwiches to keep you full if you plan on hanging out for a while. This spot is well known for their beautiful sunset views and chill vibe.

Rusty Pelican
If you are looking for a more romantic place to grab some drinks, dinner, and a good view of the sunset, Rusty Pelican is the place you’re looking for. The menu is decked out with seafood and tropical drinks that will put you in a beach-y mood and give you a full and happy stomach. They also have a huge wine list with glasses or bottles that pair perfectly with the dinner dishes offered.

Get A Strike
Splitsville Channelside
On super hot days, going outside at all seems like a bad idea. Splitsville is the perfect place to go if temperatures hit higher than 87. Splitsville not only has a full food menu and a ton of beer, wine, and cocktails, but they also have a Sunday special. On Sundays, shoe rentals are only $3.50 for an unlimited amount of time and games are only $6 per person, per game. Stay as long as you like and see who can get the most strikes.

Pin Chasers
For late Sunday night bowling, Pin Chasers is the place to go. A game for an adult is less than eight bucks and includes free shoes. If you plan on going with a group, Pin Chasers has a deal for groups of at least four people for $79 per lane and is good for two hours. If you have a group of six and do the math, that’s only about fourteen dollars and still includes shoes. They also have food and drinks to keep you full during your games.
