The famous German festival is making an appearance in Tampa once again this year. Fans of beer, good food, and much fun will love what this year’s Oktoberfest Tampa has in store for them. If you and your significant other are looking for a date that’ll stay in your minds for months to come, look no further because this is it!

Oktoberfest Tampa 2018

Everyone knows of the Oktoberfest celebration held in Germany, but getting over there to see it in person isn’t easy! That’s why you shouldn’t miss Oktoberfest Tampa celebration coming at you from October 12th to October 14th. This festival will be held at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront park located in the middle of Tampa’s downtown with plenty of space for all the fun.


Drinks and Food

Drink-wise and food-wise, you’ll have lots of options. There’s several categories of beer, including the pilsner, the märzen, the dunkel, the wheat and the radler. There will also be some wines for you to taste, including riesling, gewürztraminer and merlot. And you can’t have a German festival without some classic German foods like schnitzel and bratwurst of course! Frankfurter, debreziner and currywurst and pretzels are on the menu, as well, so don’t miss out!


Games and Competitions Galore

Oktoberfest Tampa isn’t just about the drinks and food! This year there will be both old and new games for you and your date to partake in. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in stein hoisting, keg stacking, carry the wench, tug-o-war, grain sack toss, corn hole and much more. If a little competitiveness is more your speed, you can compete in the Mr and Mrs Oktoberfest or the beard and mustache competition, too.



You can get your tickets online now. Tickets are $8 plus fees for a one day pass and $20 for a weekend pass including Friday, October 12th from 4pm to 11pm, Saturday, October 13th from 11am to 11pm and Sunday, October 14th from 11am to 6pm.
