Due to the closure of half of the city and its’ roads, it can be quite a challenge during the Gasparilla festivities to find a hot bite of food away from the craziness. Luckily, this year, both the festival and other third-party hosts have ticketed brunch options available for purchase online around Gasparilla to better convenience families and other swash-bucklers looking for a bite to eat.

Stop at the Getaway just off Gandy Bridge to kick off your morning with Live Music, Bloody Mary’s, and Rum Specials! Dock by boat or land and quench your thirst!
This ticket has so much to offer! Along with a bar crawl, ticket holders can have brunch at two separate locations and enjoy the use of a party bus. Brunch options include District Tavern in Channelside, The Patio in South Tampa, and another bar (TBD). Bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s will be available with a delicious brunch. Those who don’t need brunch can hop on and off the party bus that will run a continuous loop between District Tavern, The Patio, the bar that’s TBD, and Franklin Manor. Choose between a brunch crawl ticket and a crawl only ticket from $30 – $65.
Hosted by Rainmaker of Tampa Bay, your involvement will help children and families who benefit from the services of Father of Mine. Located at the Westin Tampa Waterside, the event includes food, open bar, live music, face painting, balloon artists, games, raffle drawings, photo booths and a front-row seat to the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion! Come dressed as a pirate and enjoy all the Gasparilla fun which starts at $25.
During the height of the festivities on Saturday, January 25th, take a ride on one of Yacht Star Ship’s cruises to view the invasion on the largest vessel in the flotilla. Guests are invited to come casual or dress in your best pirate gear and enjoy the close-up experience of the Jose Gasparilla Pirate Ship as well as the rest of the flotilla as it makes its’ way across the bay. The Yacht StarShip will break off from the flotilla before it turns into the downtown channels and will move ahead for more great views.
The cruise is two and a half hours and is subject to the Coast Guard. The cruise may return to the Convention Center at 12:30 and remain docked until 2 p.m. if ordered where passengers are welcome to stay on board and witness the arrival of the flotilla to the docks at 1 p.m. Guests are welcome to choose from indoor to outdoor seating with the best pirate-like feast. Enjoy DJ entertainment, two alcoholic beverages per ticket (21+) and of course, a one of a kind experience.
Tickets are $179.95 per person for adults and $99.95 per child. Boarding will begin at 10 a.m. and will cruise from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cruise includes a buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, two alcoholic beverages per ticket, a reserved table, spectacular views, and DJ entertainment on the Promenade.
Take your Gasparilla viewing experience to the next level with Starlite Cruises’ Gasparilla Invasion of Tampa Bay. The cruise is an 11-hour, all-day event featuring a continental breakfast, sit down lunch and sit down dinner. The Starlite Cruise will be the second vessel behind the pirate ship during the flotilla with reserved bleacher seating for the parade once ashore!
Join The Junior League of Tampa Bay for their Gasparilla Invasion Party from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at their Headquarters on Davis Island. This event is open to adults 21 and older with general admission tickets starting at $100. Tickets include breakfast, lunch, drinks, live music and entertainment, and of course, viewing of the Gasparilla Invasion.
Just a quick walk off of Bayshore sits Zudar’s on Platt! Pop in during the Gasparilla festivities for food and drinks, before, during, and after the Invasion! Zudar’s will be serving BBQ all day long and is a great spot for easy parade access as well as hero discounts.
Be sure to grab your tickets now for the Gasparilla Pirate Fest VIP Hospitality area. This ticket will allow access into the reserved hospitality area off of Howard and Bayshore Blvd. Tickets will reserve bleacher seating which includes a picnic-style lunch option including pork, beans and yellow rice, salad, cookies, and alcohol-free beverages. The lunch will take place before the parade with other snack options offered throughout the duration of the parade. Tickets range in price from $85-$135.
Another fabulous brunch idea during the height of the pirate festivities is the 2020 Invasion Brunch presented by the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, held at the Convention Center. This brunch will begin at 10 a.m. and will include a cash bar, a reserved seat for great views of the Invasion. Children 2 and under will not need a ticket as long as they are in the lap of an Adult Ticket holder; anyone occupying a seat over the age of 2 must have a ticket. Tickets are available online at $110.00 per person.
Guests purchasing brunch tickets have a combo option with brunch and a bleacher ticket bringing the ticketed total to $145.00 per person.
