Due to the closure of half of the city and its’ roads, it can be quite a challenge during the Gasparilla festivities to find a hot bite of food away from the craziness. Luckily, this year, both the festival and other third-party hosts have ticketed brunch options available for purchase online around Gasparilla to better convenience families and other swash-bucklers looking for a bite to eat.

Stop at the Getaway just off Gandy Bridge to kick off your morning with Live Music, Bloody Mary’s, and Rum Specials! Dock by boat or land and quench your thirst!
Don’t miss out on the second annual Tito’s Gasparilla Barrr Crawl, this time with two brunch locations! When purchasing your tickets for this event be sure to check one of two brunch options, either District Tavern Tampa or Thee Tree House! Depending on your choice of brunch, is where the bar crawl will begin, so choose wisely, mateys! Tickets include brunch as well bottomless mimosas and the chance to commute via provided busing from the three participating bar crawl establishments (District Tavern, Thee Tree House, and Franklin Manor). There will be a continuous bus loop every 30-45 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Make your way to the Westin Tampa Waterside for the 10th Annual Gasparilla Extravaganza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m! The event will benefit Hands Across the Bay and the children and families who benefit from their services. There will be tons of food, an open bar, live music, face painting, artists, games, raffle drawings, photo booths, and of course, a front seat view of the Gasparilla festivities. Come dressed as your best pirate and enjoy!
During the height of the festivities on Saturday, January 26, take a ride on one of Yacht Star Ship’s cruises to view the invasion on the largest vessel in the flotilla. Guests are invited to come casual or dress in your best pirate gear and enjoy the close-up experience of the Jose Gasparilla Pirate Ship as well as the rest of the flotilla as it makes its’ way across the bay. The Yacht StarShip will break off from the flotilla before it turns into the downtown channels and will move ahead for more great views.
The cruise is two and a half hours and is subject to the Coast Guard. The cruise may return to the Convention Center at 12:30 and remain docked until 2 p.m. if ordered where passengers are welcome to stay onboard and witness the arrival of the flotilla to the docks at 1 p.m. Guests are welcome to choose from indoor to outdoor seating with the best pirate-like feast. Enjoy DJ entertainment, two alcoholic beverages per ticket (21+) and of course, a one of a kind experience.
Tickets are $149.95 per person for adults and $89.95 per child. Boarding will begin at 10 a.m. and will cruise from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cruise includes a buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, two alcoholic beverages per ticket, a reserved table, spectacular views, and DJ entertainment on the Promenade.
Take your Gasparilla viewing experience to the next level with Starlite Cruises’ Gasparilla Invasion of Tampa Bay. The cruise is an 11-hour, all day event featuring a continental breakfast, sit down lunch and sit down dinner. The Starlite Cruise will be the second vessel behind the pirate ship during the flotilla with reserved bleacher seating for the parade once ashore!
This year, Cask Social is hosting Wreck’d 12 hour Gasparilla block party. There will be food, drinks, and musical entertainment featuring Carlo Lilo. The event will start at 10 a.m. and last a full 12 hours until 10 p.m. Tickets are on sale from $10-$35.
Join The Junior League of Tampa Bay for their Gasparilla Invasion Party from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at their Headquarters on Davis Island. This event is open to adults 21 and older with general admission tickets starting at $80. Tickets include breakfast, lunch, drinks, live music and entertainment, and of course, viewing of the Gasparilla Invasion.
Pregame for the Invasion with World of Beer from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and enjoy brunch and mimosas! This event is FREE and is first come first serve. There will be $17 bottles of champagne, $6 Bloody Marys, $2 pirate’s blood shots, a live DJ, and of course, a select brunch menu.
Just a quick walk off of Bayshore sits Zudar’s on Platt! Pop in during the Gasparilla festivities for food and drinks, before, during, and after the Invasion! Zudar’s will be serving BBQ all day long and is a great spot for easy parade access as well as hero discounts.
Be sure to grab your tickets now for the Gasparilla Pirate Fest VIP Hospitality area. This ticket will allow access into the reserved hospitality area off of Howard and Bayshore Blvd. Tickets will reserve bleacher seating which includes a picnic-style lunch option including pork, beans and yellow rice, salad, cookies, and alcohol-free beverages. The lunch will take place before the parade with other snack options offered throughout the duration of the parade. Tickets range in price from $85-$135.
If you’re not one for the craziness of Bayshore but still want something fun to do during Gasparilla, then head over to Armature works, grab a bite at one of their delicious food options, and enjoy live music all day beginning at 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Don’t miss Sebastian Tellaro from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., JT Brown from 3- 6 p.m., and finally Chris Sgammato from 7-10 p.m.

Don’t miss out on a day-long party beginning at noon until 6 p.m. on Bayshore Boulevard. Ticketholders will enjoy an exciting day of fun activities under a party tent with tables, chairs, bleachers, security, a private restroom, fully catered buffet, fully stocked bar, and DJ. Tickets are limited and sold on a first come, first serve basis.
Another fabulous brunch idea during the height of the pirate festivities is the 2019 Invasion Brunch presented by the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, held at the Convention Center. This brunch will begin at 10 a.m. and will include a cash bar, a reserved seat for great views of the Invasion. Children 2 and under will not need a ticket as long as they are in the lap of an Adult Ticket holder; anyone occupying a seat over the age of 2 must have a ticket. Tickets are available online at $110.00 per person.
Guests purchasing brunch tickets have a combo option with brunch and a bleacher ticket bringing the ticketed total to $145.00 per person.
