It is known for its picturesque landscape, abundant wildlife, and clear blue waters. It is a national park, meaning it is completely protected, as well as more isolated than many of the other beaches in the area. Fort De Soto is located in St. Petersburg and costs $5 per car to enter. This is a cheap fee for the beauty that exists within the gate. St. Pete is known for its sunsets and Pass-a-Grille is a wonderful place to watch a Valentine’s Day sunset. In addition, there is no fee to enter the beach, making it extremely affordable for all.

Sunset Beach at Treasure Island:

There is no better place to watch a sunset than Sunset Beach of course! Located in the southern tip of Treasure Island, right outside of St. Petersburg, Sunset Beach offers much more than just a beach. The park includes paved walking and bicycle paths, as well as restaurants, tiki huts, and bohemian beachside bars. The vibes of the beach are extremely low-key and hip. Get out and be active, bring a beach blanket and take in the beautiful sunset, or sip on some beers at one of the bars. Whatever you decide to do, Sunset Beach is a perfect date spot for Valentine’s Day with your significant other.

Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach:

Sunsets at Pier 60” is a festival that runs 364 days a year from two hours before until two hours after sunset. The current time of the festival is 4 -8 p.m. Couples can visit the pier and not only view the beautiful sunset, but also check out the many artisans, crafters, and street performers that populate this famous landmark. After walking along the pier and watching the sky erupt in bright colors, couples can seek out a place to eat in the quaint town of Clearwater. This date night is great for Valentine’s Day, as well as any other day of the year.
