The Tampa Museum of Art will revive its much-loved Silent Disco on Saturday, August 19, 2017 when attendees will boogie the night away. Not your average dance party, Silent Discos require dancers to wear wireless headphones instead of listening to music over an overhead speaker system.
Attendees choose from three DJ stations at the switch of a button and strut their best moves on the dance floor listening only to the station they have selected.
It’s fun, a little wacky and totally unforgettable. Oh, and there will be a cash bar and Sono Cafe food for purchase.
Silent Disco is a fundraising event to support K-12 student educational visits to the Tampa Museum of Art. It is operated by FRIENDS of the Museum, the Museum’s official auxiliary volunteer group, devoted to raising funds by way of fun and engaging events.
