James Lanza began this successful restaurant group, which got their start in New York City. The Ciccio Restaurant Group began their journey when Ciccio and Tony’s opened in South Tampa. When Lanza visited Tampa for Ciccio and Tony’s grand opening, he found that the Florida mindset aligned with what the Ciccio Restaurant was trying to achieve. He recognized Florida as an opportunity for expansion, especially considering the healthy mindset within Tampa Bay. Today, The Ciccio Restaurant Group has given us countless restaurants with an emphasis on healthy living, quality ingredients and customer service.

Green Lemon
Green Lemon has been a South Tampa favorite since it opened. This modern take on Mexican is using traditional ingredients minus the fillers so you can enjoy healthy and delicious Mexican favorites. The attire is casual and there’s a definite party atmosphere. Guests can expect live music and DJs, local art, and house made margaritas to keep the party going. Don’t forget to try the guac!

Fresh Kitchen
Possibly the most well known Ciccio Restaurant Group, Fresh Kitchen is fast casual food that’s creative preparation makes for healthy eating! If you don’t believe the hype, peep the long lunchtime lines. Fresh Kitchen is serving up create your own bowls that include a protein, base, and veggies. While options stay consistent, seasonal specials are rotated onto the menu. Fresh Kitchen’s popularity is probably due to its healthy and fast concept being desirable to many. Taco Dirty
If you already love Fresh Kitchen and Green Lemon, than Taco Dirty is probably the perfect option for you. The concept is healthy, fast casual just like Fresh Kitchen but the flavors are reminiscent of Green Lemon. You’ll see the same create your own bowls alongside tacos and burritos. If you’re looking for a quick or casual spot for a lunch date than Taco Dirty is a healthy option in a cute and eclectic setting.
Ciccio Cali
A lot of dinner options can be overly decadent and heavy. For something light and fresh, Ciccio Cali is the perfect place. California inspired cooking means an emphasis on local and sustainable ingredients as well as seasonality. Ciccio Cali’s bowls, pizzas, and fresh wraps are all California inspired and made to order. Ciccio Water
The location that started it all! Located on Howard Avenue near Bayshore Boulevard, this restaurant is a local favorite. Ciccio Water serves primarily Greek, Mediterranean, and seafood. Better Byrd
We all love fried chicken and there are a thousand places to get it. What makes Better Byrd different is its creatively prepared hormone free chicken with a gluten free option. Sweet Soul
This sweet spot is all about offering up healthy treats. If you and your health conscious date are looking for a sweet treat, Sweet Soul offers all vegan, paleo and plant based items that benefit the body. Unique treats like charcoal soft serve and customizable acai bowls are yummy and different so you and your date can try something new! Sweet Soul is a health conscious concept in an adorable setting with outdoor seating. This is a great option for after a run or for a midday treat that is still great for your body.
Luv Child
Luv Child is one of the newest additions to the Ciccio group, opening fall of 2019, and is located in Soho. They serve Cuban-style restaurant that blends old Florida and the 70’s. The hot spot is closed on Mondays and is open Tuesday through Sunday! The spot is pretty big with 177 seats and its own full-service restaurant with an awesome outdoor patio and bar. Definitely one to add to your list of regulars as their prices are super affordable too!

Forbici Modern Italian
Also one of the newest openings for the Ciccio Restaurant Group is Forbici located in Hyde Park. This sit down restaurant brings you delicious pastas, pizzas and salads all while immersing you in a unique atmosphere. You can choose to sit at a table or grab a seat at the bar for a glass of vino! For those who have been to a Ciccio restaurant you know they are allergy conscious, and Forbici is no exception. They offer both gluten-free pasta and pizza options!
