This park includes butterfly aviaries, botanical gardens, a butterfly farm and research center as well as bird aviaries and a lorikeet encounter. Admission is about $30 each, but there are also often special rates available.

Hillsboro Inlet and Lighthouse

The Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse is a destination you’ll love. Take a tour of the lighthouse and climb up the 175 steps to the top or visit the museum on site. The tours only happen everyf ew weeks, so make sure you plan ahead if you want to add this to your list of Boca Raton stops.

Sugar Sand Park and Willow Theatre

Sugar Sand Park is a place that has it all, including a beautiful location, a community center, a carousel, nature trails, picnic spots, and even a performing arts theatre. You can enjoy nature and the outdoors in the 132 acre park or stop by the Willow Theatre for a nice show.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands

The Wakodahatchee Wetlands are another great stop for your getaway in Boca Raton. This park has many opportunities to observe wildlife, from alligators to turtles to raccoons and more. Bird watching is also popular here and there have been over 178 bird species identified in the park. This is definitely a perfect stop for your getaway!

The Wick Theatre and Costume Museum

You can’t visit Boca Raton without making a stop at the Wick Theatre and Costume Museum! This awesome place has amazing shows and productions as well as a museum housing the original wardrobes from over 35 different Broadway productions. It’s a place you can’t miss!
